Comcast Xfinity X1 sucks.
Any other opinions.
Our system consistently freezes requiring a restart of the box (. I'd say 50% of the ondemand doesn't work the first time. Internet is flawless, mostly just the tv interface I hate.
What do you other dads have? Comcast. Uverse? Direct tv?

1 ReplyI have the x1 and I have more issues with the boxes in the rooms freezing and having to be reset all the time...Internet not bad..but I have the highest grade for a few months right now.

X1 can be a pain. The menu and guide part use your WiFi connection that usually the issue. Its stupid but that's how they did it. Download a WiFi signal meter on your phone and check the signal strength at the box. I have this issue with the box in my bedroom that's the farthest away

Waiting for X1 to ship... will report back. Comcast internet seems pretty damn good (wired connection). Pricey though!

But the dsl we couldn't have more than 3 devices on router or one got booted. With 2 ps3, 2 cellphones and 3 tablets in the household that wasn't working. For us the cable tv has been great the internet not so much. Can't win. :(

Comcast here and have to hard reset atleast once a week sometimes twice.

I'm an X1 subscriber, but have built a new home (2008) so maybe I'm not seeing as many issues with it.
