I think I'm part of the majority when I say I want costume slots. Make exotics take both the equipped and costume slot if need be, but let us look how we want. There's so many awesome lower level armor parts that we use for under an hour and never see again! Now you might be wondering what this has to do with money. Simple. Paid DLC that doesn't impact gameplay. Look at other games like SWTOR which made a comeback with cosmetic purchases. A huge comeback. Look at WoW with how much they report making in pure profit on their real money pets and mounts. Many players like myself in their late 20's and older have lots of cash to spend. Money isn't the issue, just give us something to spend it on! Think about how many Ice Breakers your numbers reported you selling last time Xur was here. Now imagine you sell shaders for $1 for a box that has a random (rare or better) shader in it, or $3 for a 3 shader box with a guaranteed legendary. Unique skinned vehicles. How many people do you think would pay for a pike? If literally millions of people pay $25 a pop for a single character mount on WoW every time they get added how much do you think a pike model would make? In my opinion Bungie, you need to think long term. Hire on a small microtransaction team. Figure out how to add it into game even if it's website based and the purchases go directly to the woefully underutilized special orders NPC rather than an in game UI. You'll have an initial cost to start it up, but the sky is the limit after that. Look at people flipping out because they missed the EV-30. Sell a different paintjob one with the same abilties. Sell a different one with different emotes. I'm not alone in this, guys. A large portion of your player base has significant spending power that is being neglected. Costume armor sets, shaders, vehicles, emblems. You name it! You make a character effect that makes small sparks that randomly pop up on the surface of my exo and I'd pay for that. Make cool armor sets as costume only and sign me up! You're a business, you need money. We want to give you money, just give us something to spend it on!
