crux of crota only drops when fully upgraded eidolon ally equiped?

My EA was tucked away neatly in the vault when I got my crux, oddly enough I think my necrochasm is occupying the same vault slot the EA was...such a disappointment

No. No secret. Just kill him X amount of times on hard mode.

My non upgraded eidolon ally was in the bank when i got the crux. Now both sit in ye bank

1 ReplyThere is no secret to getting the Crux. It's just a random drop, simple as that.

Don't need it at all, I have Nechrochasm in my vault with 2 Husks no ally and crux dropped a second time. I didn't have glowhoo equipped or anything! What did I do to deserve a second one? RNG must hate me FML

Nope. Got mine with an unupgraded Eidolon Ally on a different character.

I only have glowhoo or however you spell it and I still got crux

I upgraded my husk to the alley and since then it has sat in my vault. Got the crux last weekend and now thats sitting in my vault. You dont need to even have the husk to get crux.

My Edion Ally was in the vault and my Glowhoo was on another character both times I got the crux. No special tricks to get the Crux. RNG is RNG.

You don't have to. I had two aidolon ally's and dismantled them. The next week I got two cruxs'

1 ReplyI didn't have mine equipped but I did have it in my inventory. Fun fact if you have an exotic special or heavy weapon and you upgrade to necrochasm you de-equip your primary weapon.

My crux dropped yesterday and I didn't have mine maxed or even on my character. Also, my friend got his crux second hard mode and he didn't even have a husk of the pit.
