'Hatred' has been given the rare AO rating due to it basically being a genocide simulator. Hatred will be on PC only since Xbox and PS do not allow AO games. Hatred will be on Steam however.
Note: The only other game to achieve an AO rating from ESRB was Manhunt 2.
P.S. I have nothing against Hatred in case people somehow get the message I'm a soccer mom.
-
It sucks I liked Manhunt 2 and I want Hatred for my Wii-U.
-
Agree with the rating. Im all for freedom of expression. Just not a game I feel younger kids should play. Also not exactly a fantasy I wanna live out in a game...
-
I thought we were getting another infamous game....
-
Note: The only other game to achieve an AO rating from ESRB was Manhunt 2.
No it isn't. Gta SA is also one of the few games that got one, along with a few others.
-
That is very interesting but why the hell is Forbes Magazine reporting on this? Isn't that a financial mag?
-
Goddamn soccer moms and their minivans.
-
Don't even know why you would play it. If it's just mowing down innocents, where's the challenge?
-
Futt Bucker = soccer mom...ha..hahaha
-
damn hot coffee mod.... because of that disaster following it, they disabled all mods and anything that modified the gtasa.exe file with a patch.
-
I personally wish there was a game where I get to play as the people crucifying Jesus, I mean that with all of my heart. I would buy it twice.
-
Dang. AO is nothin to be to be proud of.
-
The hell is an AO rating? I didn't even know there was such a thing?
-
Oh great, someone bumped this.

Edited by Lolipops: 1/26/2015 3:43:09 PMThere is a chance Steam will pull it from their platform too. Although Gabe Newell was the one to reinstate it to Greenlight, I can see people complaining enough about it that Valve would react. Which is funny because there are worse games on Steam. A side note: The developers didn't need to go to the ESRB at all, as its not needed to get on Steam. Nor is it a legit classification system outside of the U.S. So not entirely sure why they did? I'd play it if it came to console. Seems like it would appease me after a particularly shit day.
-
I wanna play it really bad. It does sound like fun lol
-
You forgot Gta San Andreas. Also had an AO rating.
-
Edited by Flash: 3/10/2015 9:54:58 PMNevermind
-
Holy shit. AO? -blam!-...
-
I wanna play it, don't have a PC though :( nothing wrong with a little bit of violence
-
Exclusive to Nintendo, lucky sobs.
-
It was made by a bunch of emo outcasts who probably claimed they were misunderstood by society
-
I say get rid of ESRB they keep messing up all or video games, people should find out what the games are about on their own anyway. I'm talking about what America used to be, buy things using your own discretion. Does know one believe in responsibility anymore? IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE IN YOU OR YOUR CHILDREN PLAYING VIDEO GAMES THAT ARE VIOLENT THEN DON'T BUY THEM!
-
I can't wait to play it. Even if it turns out to be no fun I just wanna piss people off
-
Edited by Ghost of Reach: 1/27/2015 1:09:51 PMLooks stupid anyways...
-
Wouldn't even install the game if it was free to play.
