Damn, I actually get ingrown toenails every now and then, same spots, and I end up just clipping my toe nail and pulling the nail out before it becomes a problem. When I had a bad one, I soaked it in really hot water with normal salt, and the nail ended up protruding through the skin a little bit and we pulled it out, because I had already cut the nail, but it was stuck under the skin. Not fun stuff.
