If you're tired of people killing everything in strikes try this!
If you're like me and you rush past everything, but there's that 1 guy lagging behind killing stuff then help a guardian out. Get to the checkpoint and then kill yourself. More than likely you'll be the only guardian at that checkpoint when you are playing with these slow unhelpful people so it will just wipe the group and respawn everyone at the checkpoint you just died at. Easy way to tell if you're the only one at a check point is to just look at your radar. If you don't see any green on it then you're the only one in that checkpoint. So if you wanna be the boss and set the pace of the strike then give this a try!!!! Works well for me

I just let that person kill everything, I a legendary engram drops, or even a blue, it'll just show up at the postmaster, and you don't even have to kill anyone!

Dying reduces chance of legendary/exotic drops. Screw whoever is killing shit just go kill bosses solo. If you can't you are just weak.

Oh if you really do that then I will gladly take the time and sit down at the checkpoint and will enjoy the scenery afk. Feel free to bring me on the next checkpoint aswell.

Had some douche do this yesterday, fortunately for all but 2 checkpoints out if say 5 runs he was able to do this and when he was successful I had only a couple monsters left. The game will let u run to the end just fight don't force me or next time I'll afk too

Funny this an issue because I usually do both. I like to kill "most" things but, not lag to far behind. Usually when I catch up they are just starting the next section. I'm not running through as fast as I can but, still trying to go quickly. I've never been so far behind that they had to kill the boss alone

5 RepliesI've hit checkpoints and finished entire waves (usually w/o dying) before people catch up. I get the better loot, the strike moves along, the other guys are happy killing everything behind. No sense in forcing them to change what they're doing.

I mean...some people like to complete bounties, get exp for motes, and get a ton of blue engrams for the cryptarch.
