If you're like me and you rush past everything, but there's that 1 guy lagging behind killing stuff then help a guardian out. Get to the checkpoint and then kill yourself. More than likely you'll be the only guardian at that checkpoint when you are playing with these slow unhelpful people so it will just wipe the group and respawn everyone at the checkpoint you just died at. Easy way to tell if you're the only one at a check point is to just look at your radar. If you don't see any green on it then you're the only one in that checkpoint. So if you wanna be the boss and set the pace of the strike then give this a try!!!! Works well for me
Edit 1 how can I collect all these tears with so much salt
Edit 2 thanks for all the attention to this thread! Let's get this method out there an put into action!!!
Edit 3 I am truly blessed. Thank you guardians for all these tears. Without you none of this would be possible. May your eyes be wet and your cheeks be salty

Maybe they pop'd a consumable to make a little extra glimmer for an upgrade. Maybe they are leveling up a gear, or a weapon with telemetry. Maybe they are enjoying the game their way by clearing mobs. Maybe try not being such a self-centered and self-involved bitch about it.
-
I will never understand the people that run past all the enemies. In vanguard roc the drop rate is huge not to mention the amount of purple engrams i have received out of doing vanguard roc runs and a lot of the blue engrams have become weapons I am happy with the others become strange coins and motes of light . Running through you are just cheating yourself of the rewards
-
And while you're running ahead I'll be back collecting my legendary engrams for actually PLAYING THE -blam!-ING GAME YOU -blam!-!
-
idk about u guys but i rush and slaughter i played 3 or 4 ROC strikes today i got over 90 kills in every single one while teamates got like 10-20 and i got to the bosses and got their health down half way before they got into the room maybe they just suck but this happens 95% of the time for me
-
Had someone try this against me once. Joke's on them, I killed everything just as fast as he completely ignored all the mobs and ran ahead. He died before he could even reach the checkpoint.

My troll senses are tingling

Edited by diddy: 1/26/2015 9:02:36 PMJust curious, what are the key reasons for killing every ADD in a strike? Legendary engram drops are very unlikely (most high level players don't really need anymore leg engrams), leveling weapons that way is nearly impossible, glimmer farming is far more efficient on the exclusion zone..... I just don't see the value in killing every add. Granted, I run strikes solely to complete bounties and rarely if ever run ROC strikes. I wouldn't wipe to respawn a lagging ADD killer, I would just kill the boss extremely fast.
-
I don't even get mad when people run ahead, I totally understand why they do it. Seriously think about it. Why spend 15-20 minutes on one strike killing useless enemies for Green Engrams with very little chance of getting any blues to drop, when you can complete a strike in less than 7 minutes by skipping straight to the the Boss and collecting your crappy Blue Engram rewards. Time is of the essence, especially in this game that takes up much of your time doing the same crap over and over. You can go through 2 strikes and get double the rewards in 10-12 minutes by skipping useless enemies. Also doing strikes has become so repetitive that most people just want to get it over with as fast as possible to collect the loot and move on to something else. There is nothing wrong with speed running through strikes, but try to do with with friends who want to speed run through it.
-
If ppl do that to me have fun with me sitting on the ground and watch ppl like u defeating the rest of the strike if u die i wont revive u offcourse. If u do the same im willing to sit there wholde day i dont care and dont surrender to u.
-
Someone did this to me and a buddy. We weren't even going that slow but dude was impatient. So, we decided not to revive him. We had a blast fighting to the end and taking a long time to do it.
-
Another thought I just had. When I start a strike I will often pick the needed "Grab more Glimmer" device from my Inventory. I don't think I've ever once had to farm for glimmer to purchase a thing. I normally have 10-20K of glimmer sitting in my Inventory.
-
Your edit doesn't make sense, what the tears consist of doesn't make them any easier or harder to collect
-
When someone does that, I just go back and kill the ads and move on when I am ready.
-
Shut up Meg?

Most people that run ahead and die proly don't do it on purpose. They think they are the shit then die cause they suck donkey balls
-
I just turn around and kill whatever i was killing when your impatience interrupted me
-
So because I might do a quick patrol of an area (let's use Ember Caves on Venus) BEFORE entering the strike proper because of chests and materials that means I'm impeding your game? Just crack on, I'll catch up and STILL ended up with more kills than people like you.
-
Edited by Ninjambie: 1/26/2015 5:52:56 PMYep, and that's when I afk or circle jerk in the corner somewhere while you kill the boss by yourself. I love it when people do this shit. It gives me time to check emails, Instagram, etc.. Win win for me. Makes sense, right? You rush to the end to save time... only to complete it by yourself while I sit back and collect on your time. Can't troll a troll. You want people to play your way? Get some like minded players and play with them. Here comes the edits...
-
I just do what the team is doing. They want to chill and kill everything, I got their back. Wanna speed run to the end? I'm right there with you, makes literally no difference to me.
-
I like killing all the adds tbh. If someone did this to try speed me up i would just run right back and take a seat in a nice safe place for the boss fight i watch you "speedrun" that :)
-
Who cares, id do all the strikes alone if i could. Its lvl 26 they're all -blam!-in easy. Your real goal should be to kill the boss and enemies before they can get there and find glimmer or engrams.
-
Well your suppose to kills things.. It's how most of us plays
-
This is one of the best ways to end up doing the boss by yourself. Which tends to take longer than doing it the way it's meant to be done.
-
I just quit and find another game. I'm not playing with self-entitled a-holes.
-
If your tired of running out of glimmer, weapon parts, and class materials and you don't feel like standing outside of a cave for hours on end try this. How about shooting the minions that you come across in the strikes. It works great and since you probably are in a lobby with some douche that ran by everything resulting in your path getting blocked by the disturbed minions while he sits just outside of the boss fight waiting for you before he goes to some corner and hides for the whole fight anyway. (Yes I left that sentence long just to annoy the grammar police.) What else are you going to do?
