If you're tired of people killing everything in strikes try this!
If you're like me and you rush past everything, but there's that 1 guy lagging behind killing stuff then help a guardian out. Get to the checkpoint and then kill yourself. More than likely you'll be the only guardian at that checkpoint when you are playing with these slow unhelpful people so it will just wipe the group and respawn everyone at the checkpoint you just died at. Easy way to tell if you're the only one at a check point is to just look at your radar. If you don't see any green on it then you're the only one in that checkpoint. So if you wanna be the boss and set the pace of the strike then give this a try!!!! Works well for me

Its so funny that they think they're helping. The sad part is, i still finish with double the amount of kills they have.

I take out the worst weapons I earned and make it seem legit. Like that green scout rifle I just got that does 178dmg?? Good. Cause your gonna be seeing it the rest of the match. Seriously, if it makes you mad then leave. I can solo every strike myself. So your only wasting your time.

2 RepliesUsually when people go ahead, i stay behind to kill the enemies. I would not like it if i were teleported forward because the guys who rushed ahead died in the darkness zone. It would not "help me out". It would just kinda make me mad

4 RepliesI can be an asshole too...I politely wave then go back to the room I was killing mobs in until I've had my fill. Then I'll catch up and help with the boss, as long as everything up to him is dead along the way.

A guy did this on a strike last night. So I went back finished clearing the previous stage. The best was when he tried to do the chandler cheese and got obliterated. No one revived him. 2 min later...dead again.

I go with what the rest of my teammates are doing. I honestly don't run strikes that much, just do bounties and then go to the crucible. If I'm on with my buddies we're usually setting up for a raid, so I get my experience in to level up my ballerhorn... I haven't done a ton of bounties just because I only need the pocket infinity, so as soon as I get that I'm only doing bungie when I need experience.

So this subject seems to be divided. To speed run or not to speed run? It's a shame the OP wasn't set on their way being the only way. We might have been able to have a discussion instead of the slagging match. I'm glad i mainly play Strikes with friends....

I agreed with both sides. 1, speed run = more strikes per hour = more engrams. 2, kill all darkness mobs = more engrams Answer = I just go with the flow and try not to be a complete asshat.

If you want to speed run than you have to deal with the reality that you may have to kill the boss by yourself. Honestly if you can't kill a boss by yourself, you have no business giving advice or orders to anyone. If I'm killing all the shit that you ran past and you spawn me to the checkpoint, I'll just run back and continue as before lol I'm an asshole to assholes

1 ReplyYeh when I do strikes with goons like you I normally take my time then catch up when I'm ready by that time you're on the boss so I fire a few rounds at the big guy then stand and dance and let you do all the work. Don't expect a revive because that's not going to happen. #jackass.

5 RepliesSo annoying. I do strikes as an all inclusive way to earn marks, glimmer, bounties, and mess around with new guns I'm not familiar with. Warp me to the boss. I'll spend the next ten minutes running around, dancing, pointing, and sitting on your ghost if you die doing half revives. Solo it. Awesome! I get rewarded for taking a piss break and making a sandwhich. Fail and leave strike after 3-4 deaths. Cool your speed run just clocked 7 more minutes and you don't get crap. What about the innocent 3rd guy who just wants to play you ask? No sympathy. The "might as well since I'm here." Way of thinking allows this to remain popular.... .....Even though it makes no sense. More strikes = more rewards = more powerful character for the enemies you never fight?

I do this only if the bounty robot isn't giving "kill 100 enemies without dying" or "earn 9000 xp without dying" or "complete a strike without dying" If he isn't giving any of those bounties out, do your engram and xp farming in patrol.
