If you're tired of people killing everything in strikes try this!
If you're like me and you rush past everything, but there's that 1 guy lagging behind killing stuff then help a guardian out. Get to the checkpoint and then kill yourself. More than likely you'll be the only guardian at that checkpoint when you are playing with these slow unhelpful people so it will just wipe the group and respawn everyone at the checkpoint you just died at. Easy way to tell if you're the only one at a check point is to just look at your radar. If you don't see any green on it then you're the only one in that checkpoint. So if you wanna be the boss and set the pace of the strike then give this a try!!!! Works well for me

And even if you do that, does not mean they will not continue to do what they were doing. meaning you will have to continue to do it and it will just take longer to do the strike because of doing that so often.

4 RepliesI don't stay back to kill all the extra enemies, I just go on and start fighting the next part of the strike by myself and wait for the others, but doing this to force them up is a bit much; if you can do the strike by yourself, feel free to go up, but you shouldn't try to change the way others like to play their strikes. If you can't do it alone, stay with your damn group because you don't deserve to dictate how they do the strike

Play with three warlocks using sunsinger. Two nights ago we generated 500+ orbs on a omnigul strike. We got tons of engrams and ran through strikes in minutes.

I honestly don't see how people can go through strikes killing everything. I'm so sick of strikes it makes my stomach turn when playing them. But I gotta get marks and class mats.... So I just go as fast as possible and half the time I have slow.... Half the time I have fast people. It all works out

7 Repliesthere is literally no reason to speed run the strikes. obviously you dont like the strikes so there is no need to do them. ive gotten so many SC and exotics from drops from mobs. i think its douchie to have one guy outta the 2 not kill anything and rush through. every week i get at least 20 SC from strikes. i wouldnt get those if i rushed through. also its even more douchie to kill yourself just to wipe and make everyone start where you couldnt pass yourself. in every strike there is a mid point where people have time to catch up. theres also areas that some people cant avoid to kill mobs so youre essentially killing them by running ahead like a baby. anyway dont play strikes if you wanna speed run as there is no point. you get nothing extra and you miss out on tons more rewards

I always just go with the flow. If my group wants to rush ahead, that's fine, I'll go with it. You want to kill everything? That's cool too, I'll sit back and shoot em up with you, it doesnt take very long either way and isn't worth getting worked up about.
