If you're tired of people killing everything in strikes try this!
If you're like me and you rush past everything, but there's that 1 guy lagging behind killing stuff then help a guardian out. Get to the checkpoint and then kill yourself. More than likely you'll be the only guardian at that checkpoint when you are playing with these slow unhelpful people so it will just wipe the group and respawn everyone at the checkpoint you just died at. Easy way to tell if you're the only one at a check point is to just look at your radar. If you don't see any green on it then you're the only one in that checkpoint. So if you wanna be the boss and set the pace of the strike then give this a try!!!! Works well for me

I've gotten multiple blue drops running singular Roc strikes. So, I think I'm just gonna kill the enemies. Your kind can just deal with it and solo the strike if you want to go so fast. I'll take as much damn time as I need to play the game how I want. P.S. By doing this, you are deciding how people should play the game. Sort of like how Bungie keeps patching the fun out of things so you play the game their way. Stop being a one man Bungie.

Some people actually enjoy killing things in this game. Get over yourself. Someone did this to me the other day when two of us joined a public event, was almost finished and got wiped. Bunch of entitled little kids playing this game.

1 ReplyHow is a player killing enemies preventing you from playing how you like, cant you do it on ur own?... In fact if your wiping on purpose to pull people forward, you could upset people who are doing strikes without dying. So yes wiping on purpose could get you in trouble, since your messing with others gameplay.

I usually play with one other person and if someone does this we sit down until the random finishes the strike or leaves. If they do up to the boss we'll keep killing ourselves until the person gets fed up and leaves. If the majority doesn't want to play your way find a new strike or just help us. If im solo and the other two people want to speed run and I don't I'll leave. It's common courtesy among players. Unfortunately most people have a sense of entitlement in this game.

5 RepliesHow about think that maybe others are doing bounties? -complete any strike without dying -melee kill 30 enemies without dying -kill 100 enemies without dying -kill Hive with a special weapon (death resets progress) I personally like doing these during ROC strikes to have more fun, instead of vaporizing Thralls in the Dark Below mission on the moon with a firefly weapon/mythoclast

I had two guys today during Archon that decided to clear the entire platform and area prior to cave. Then one joined me and ran with me up through the three waves. And finally, he stayed with me at Archon long enough to fire through his sniper ammo then punched out! That made me so mad that I decided I would finish it by myself. What Pita. 6 from ice. Then jump around like an idiot with the Lash clearing adds. Rinse an repeat 400 times. Took forever. Finally, I was blessed with a new guardian and we tag teamed The big boy. I danced with that guardian and even let him get to second base! Debt of gratitude paid! If you're going to punch out, punch out at the beginning. If you want to lolly gag, please bring your own stoner friends.

2 RepliesThose of you that are killing everything, After they wipe, Just go afk let them do the work as payback. They don't want you killing so don't kill at all, You'll still get rewards! I only do this to my fireteam (Friends) Just as they do to me cause I know they won't get butthurt & neither would I & I Only do it if it's a bounty or we're trying to do a strike really quick.

Depends on the fireteam If the team is also skipping past the extras then I'll continue doing so If they're staying behind killing enemies I'll wait at the end of the area and take out a few ads until they catch up or run out of patience Always worth the chance at engrams but not if it's going to add minutes to the strike But never kill yourself so they join you I always leave immediately if someone does that to me Goodluck finishing that strike quicker with one less fireteam member

While I don't like people lagging behind too much if your trying to go as fast as possible through a strike with randoms you can't really expect everyone to keep up.
