If you're tired of people killing everything in strikes try this!
If you're like me and you rush past everything, but there's that 1 guy lagging behind killing stuff then help a guardian out. Get to the checkpoint and then kill yourself. More than likely you'll be the only guardian at that checkpoint when you are playing with these slow unhelpful people so it will just wipe the group and respawn everyone at the checkpoint you just died at. Easy way to tell if you're the only one at a check point is to just look at your radar. If you don't see any green on it then you're the only one in that checkpoint. So if you wanna be the boss and set the pace of the strike then give this a try!!!! Works well for me

While I don't like people lagging behind too much if your trying to go as fast as possible through a strike with randoms you can't really expect everyone to keep up.

I remember getting messaged telling me to slow the -blam!- down on the archon priest strike. Rode my sparrow past everyone, killed everything to start up the priest and THEN they get there. I will speed run everything. -blam!- the mobs that dont matter.

1 ReplyThis should only happen if they are taking an unreasonable amount of time or they are afk. There is nothing wrong with killing every enemy in the strike because there are more chances for engrams and ammo.

What if they are tryin to get glimmer or fill an upgrade node? Or like doing the full strike? Just cuz you wanna fly thru it and not play a strike to its full potential doesnt mean you gotta be a hater man.

7 RepliesI run too, but your wrong if you try to force people to play your style. If they aren't helping that's different. But your pace isn't mine dude. I spent 100$ on this game and I'll be damned if you or anyone else is going to dictate to me how to play.

2 RepliesDepend on the strike, ive seen people run past the first like 5 mobs on the moon strike that take 30 seconds to kill, don't really see point in that, but then there's the midway point of rockets mcdickface and I always blast past that. If someone purposely dies to make me catch up then they are gonna do the boss without me or I'll leave however, bit of a -blam!-s trick.

I Kill all for the Glimmer & XP Points. If I start a Strike & someone just runs through it I go to orbit & restart the Strike.

I do this if the person is just hanging at the beginning to not die. Then I sit down and let them do the work.

4 RepliesI'm with you. The only reason I play strikes is to get marks and the engrams at the end. The faster the better. Not like something is going to happen that I haven't seen before. OMFG IS THAT A BIG CABAL WITH ROCKETS AND A CHAIN GUN WOW THATS NEW. no.
