Calling Out Deej.

I'm not going to write a novel on what I want or expect out of this game, I'm honestly just calling out Deej due to his lack of interaction with the community. His posts are one sided, giving little to no feedback, and it's to the point to where it doesn't even feel like they look at the forums.. I've used forums for many other products/games and a response may have not been the same day or week but there was still a response.. All the spamming of the same post is a result of no response or acknowledgement to the community... People are enraged with the shady progression of destiny, often being left out of the loop and being ignored, the community of this game is neglected, and the one guy who's supposed to acknowledge us.. Barely even replies. I see a trend of more people losing faith in this game, and its primarily due to their lack of faith in bungie as a whole. Edit #1 - I'm not asking for promises or for him to cater to my needs lol I'm looking for a community manger that actually gets on the forums and sheds light on many of the communities questions. If it's impossible to do something that people want in the game then let us know, if he voiced some of our ideas in the past how are we supposed to know? Until he actually updates the forums on the progression of the game, you're obviously gonna get the same suggestions over and over. Deej is literally our only voice to the dev team... Edit #2 - I don't want you all to think it's just about fixing or adjusting the game, it's solely about the communication with us on the forum... If the forum was moderated on a regular basis, a lot of the problems people may have with either the game, the community, or the forum itself could be resolved in a way that's better for us and bungie. Why should I have to open a thread on reddit to understand the situation with the crux of crota... Game suggestions is just one of the many examples that display the lack of communication. Edit #3 - I'm not complaining about the game.. Or "whining" I'm just expressing that I think the overall moral and atmosphere of the community could benefit with more communication from Deej (or anyone in the team)

Bungie does a very comprehensive weekly update that provides us with the details they've decided to make available. DeeJ doesn't need to come in here and hold the hand of every skeptic that wants their voice heard. If there is information to announce, it's announced. Dude can't be showing up every time a whiney, entitled little brat gets sad that he got shards instead of Jellyhorn. They know we want more vault space, they know we think the story is weak, they know we sometimes like Xur and we sometimes hate Xur and they know we're the most fickle, bitchy community they've ever had to deal with. I wouldn't show up here, either. Mainly because of self-righteous, entitled douchebags like you.

    • If you were on old bungie.net youd remember archronos and everyone used to post alot with us (bungie since hes disappeared since launch). But lack of moderators and posts in this forum which is probably the least discussed as everyone swarms wanting to lose bungie overlord virginity will not end up with discussion but flame. Runescape forums was like this until few yrs ago so many mods came to start posting and everyone got uses to it

    • Would you want to frequent or reply on these forums when they are overrun with entitled, elitist, spoiled, ungrateful brats? I wouldn't. I would cringe at doing so if it was my job. Walking on eggshells every time an update or community focus post was posted. Brutal. The toxic nature of these forums is probably the number one reason DeeJ doesn't post here anymore. I cruise these forums for entertainment only. If I want real input or opinions I'll zip over to Reddit. If you want to go after someone, you might want to look at the asshats that post here on these forums. Post after post of whining, bitching, nerf this, nerf that, I'm god bullshit would make anyone cautious of what they post. Cheers

    • To be honest I have always thought this community overreacts a lot and is harsh with some posts. However, what the hell was that promotion he posted today. Come on posting about "wizzite" or whatever the hell his name was. Is the biggest slap in the face this community could have gotten. They took down posts of "the update we will never get" because they were "spam" then Deej writes a ridiculous post like that. That is more of spam then any of our posts. The sad thing is I read the entire post hoping to get some sort of update from the developers.

    • they never do what we ask or acknowledge us, thats why they make bungie bounties, so we can go shoot them in their fat faces and let our frustrations out

    • They'll never listen to their community because they know we all expected more from this game. They are fully aware of most of the bugs but refuse to fix them. They understand what we want but won't give it to us. Once the majority keeps playing and buying their dlc they'll think it's acceptable to not fix anything.

      • If I was community manager, the entire feedback section would be taken to bungie and explained that THIS is what the game needs to have. After all, the job is to manage the community. You can't just not respond to peoples concerns and ideas about the game. If people are mad, they're mad for a reason. They want more from the game. As community manager it's his job to inform bungie what the community wants. Simple.

      • But bro, who needs to know about useful information like the future of the game when we can read about things like the life story of the voice actor who portrayed Omnigul, or how XxS1rAFKs@LotXx420 completed 4,935 strikes without even touching the controller? Did you read about the 2015, semi-annual Warlock Stylin' while Glidin' competition? Oh yeah, and Aluminum Banner comes out again next week bringing with it the same shit you've done the past 3(4?) iterations.

        • If I had to manage this community of abrasive whiners I would keep communication to a minimum too. All the dude does is gets bitched at for shit he can't control by self entitled teens, I'm surprised he hasn't snapped and told them all to go -blam!- themselves

            • Deej is just a visual puppet... They made a forum so you didn't contact them directly Fact is Bungie/activision got the money they wanted. They don't care about destiny as a game they only care about sales

              • If the overall community wasn't full of a bunch a dick less schoolboys then we'd all have more fun and I'm sure deej would comment more. The amount of shit he would have to rummage through to get to a valid thread worth a hearty debate or a comment would take up all of his day. Blame the community not deej. This is one of the worst I've ever seen for a game. Majority of this community just want want want, give us all the best weapons without working for it, make the new raid drop all its loot on day 1, where's my jellyhorn blah blah. That sums up most of the threads.

                  • He's not the game developer. He's basically just the messenger. Why do you people not get this through your thick heads? Asking him to respond to every question is pointless, he probably doesn't even know anymore than you do. If you want answers, ask the developers directly.

                      • You want the devs to listen and respond to everything you have to say? Go buy early access games that never make it out of alpha or beta at most. Devs have been listening to me and everyone about DayZ for 2+ years now...still in alpha and not going anywhere. Bungie has an ActiveVision about Destiny and Activision has the money. This is not a "let's start a game, milk early access $, get feedback, update the game a little and scrap it for a new one in a year" type of game.

                        • You do know that Deej reports to his own boss, and they probably report to someone at Activision who then reports to another person, etc, etc? If he's being as transparent as a brick wall whenever he posts stuff on these forums, it's because he simply isn't allowed to say anything more. He does respond quite often on here. But there are simply too many posts about random crap that him saying something on any single 'We want' post is immediately taken as a promise or fact. We need to keep in mind that he is literally just the messenger.
