I believe myself to exist. My consciousness understands this and confirms it therefore since the thought exists in my mind it is true to my consciousness. I have proved to myself I exist.
Proving to you that I exist is impossible since if our perception of what exists and doesn't exist is only perceived in our own consciousness I am unable to describe or show you.

The original brain may project the figment as being able to question it's own reality and thinks it's real, since the figment's thoughts are really just the original brain's thoughts.
