Who cares if people are lagging behind? If you're an awesome player like me and don't need help completing a level 26 strike on your own just -blam!-ing run through and defeat enemies by yourself! Let the other do what they want. Don't be lame and try to run through and die cause you're not as skilled as you believed yourself to be. My point is: if you rush strikes, you need to have the skill to rush strikes.

The others will get what rng gives them regardless of whether they made it to the boss or not. You're the one that chooses to run ahead, you're the one that decides when the strike ends and how much work your teammates do to participate in the completion of the strike. I always rush, I'm always the best and people still get better rewards than me sometimes, but because I spent so little time in that strike, I can get on with the next strike and try for something awesome again.

The others won't be rewarded with their engrams and vanguard marks because no one will complete the strike. I'm not giving someone free engrams and marks while doing all the work.

Exactly! since you were so eager to run ahead, you should be able to fight the boss by yourself and not get pissed when the (laggers) don't help you
