The drops at the end of strikes are always garbage, you get more legendaries from killing mobs.......

Haha no you do not and if you think that you can kill mobs in patrol. Read up on RNG.

Yes it is you being in the strike teases the hp of the mobs and if you are malingering further back and not contributing to the mobs that need to be killed to progress you are directly responsible for the slower progression of the strike team.
