game bullying ?
Was wondering if anybody had a similar situation.
Last week, I was playing crucible. It was early and I haven't gotten in my grove, so I was sucking pretty bad. Later that day I noticed I had a message which said "I should leave" thought it was kinda funny.
Yesterday I was helping my son level up his character, and was doing the Eris bounty. The one u have to kill a 100 acolyte or wizards with a void weapon. So I went to skywatch on earth. There was 3 other players there, and one of them kept getting in front of me to block my vision. Everywhere I went he was getting in my face. I noticed that they were all on a fireteam together. This lasted for five to ten minutes before they finally left. I just kept moving around to get my kills.

1 ReplyI haven't had any issues personally but I've seen and heard plenty of bullies in action. I was playing crota a few days ago with this group of guys, one of which had never done the raid before. They were dogging on him bad talking mad shit. Then they booted him from the game but left him in the party where they continued talking shit. I see the game as just that, a game. I can't stand people who get all serious and start belittling players because they are as good as the rest.

I dont do pvp so that's not an issue for me, the Skywatch issue happens now and then, I just report em and go to orbit, then back down and will be in another instance, takes a lot less then 5 min

'Dance' your guardian, get up, and have a beer. By the time you've been booted to orbit for inactivity they'll be bored of their childish behaviour. DoDs should be used to dealing with children right?

Just report them because it's more than likely they done it before. I've been lucky because I had to only one player since day1

Is that what was going on? I just thought it was this lone douchebag I ran into last night while waiting for the devil walker on earth. Guess it's a new trend, just further proof of the demise of human intelligence....ultimately payback was mine, he was apparently trying to hunt blades so I kept killing them w/ my ghorn from across he yard.

They were probably farming an area for a bounty or something , best bet just jump to orbit and drop back in :)

Actually last night I was working on doing the fallen captain's in the cosmodrome and there was some ass who kept punching me and hitting me with gunfire. He stopped when I radianced and loaded him with grenades and unloaded 500+ rounds into his head. Obviously didn't do damage but I think he got the point to leave me alone and exited. He was a 32 trying to show off his glowhoo. Standing up to in-game bullies can be a double edged sword. Sometimes they will just go away and find a new target when you stand up but other times they will continue to harass you and start sending you degrading messages and/or threats. I personally have never been threatened but I have talked to others who were. My advice is if you are ever threatened or your family is threatened by someone playing a game, call PSN or MS immediately and file a complaint with them and tell them you want to file a police report and get the individuals information and go file a police report regarding the threat to you or your families life. With all the stupid kids swatting people and doing generally stupid things take every threat seriously.

I was goofing off on a strike one time & i got message telling me that i suck. I do mess with the people who are waiting for public events.
