Why is Mars not WHITE
Why would the furthest planet from the Sun not be covered in ice and look like a desert? Space Magic? These things confuse me

Mars isn't the farthest away it is the next planet after ours Earth. It's only 4th from the sun.

Ice is frozen water. At the present time, there's no water on Mars. In Destiny's time period, Mars has been terraformed, meaning it was warmed up and made more like Earth, so no big ice fields still.
