Why would the furthest planet from the Sun not be covered in ice and look like a desert? Space Magic? These things confuse me
"The red color we see in images of Mars is the result of iron rusting. Rocks and soil on the surface of Mars contained a dust composed mostly of iron and small amounts of other elements such as chlorine and sulhpur. "
Just kidding it's because it's photoshopped.
-
Because it is a desert planet with a lot of iron oxide which makes it look red. The average temp is around 23 degrees and there is no precipitation to turn into ice. Thanks discovery channel. Lol.
-
Because theres no water on its surface... In order to have ice you need water. No water= no ice. Its also theorized that Mars had an atmosphere at one point with liquid water, but a large solar storm wiped the atmosphere clean off the planet, evaporating all water instantly.
-
Because it's close enough to almost be like Earth, just not quite close enough...
-
He means furthers out of the 3 planets the game offers.
-
Because Mars is red, it always has been, that's why it's called mars
-
Edited by UnDeadBullet: 2/1/2015 11:58:41 AMIts not the most further planet and Ice means there is water on Mars.
-
why does anyone go to mars? its boring af
-
-
Mars isn't the furthest planet from the sun. Pluto is, or Neptune if you want to be technical.
