Why would the furthest planet from the Sun not be covered in ice and look like a desert? Space Magic? These things confuse me

you go back to middle school you dumb-blam!- and its cause mars has a rich iron deposit and it have little to no water there

There's no water at Mars that could become ice. And it's the farthest "terrestrial planet" I think.

You again?
-
I hope this was a troll comment lol

It requires surface water to freeze as ice, or some similarly coloured substance in large quantities. Mars has white 'ice' caps, actually frozen carbon dioxide. The moon Titan has frozen methane covering its surface. Maybe, once this beta release of Destiny is over (let's be honest, that's what it is) we'll get the full solar system, and you can spend your days on Europa.

You are quite the master, B8er.

The real question is, why isn't it GREEN?!

It is white. What game are you even playing?
-
Master troll. Username makes this 10/10 m8.
-
OMG, you can't just ask a planet why it isn't white...
-
Ummm... Mars is the fourth furthest from the sun (Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars). Also, why would it be white when it's been nicknamed the "RED Planet"? I hope you just forgot the satire tag
-
Ever heard of terraforming?
-
Lololol so ignorant
-
Mars being a barren desert is confusing, but Venus being a goddamn jungle is perfectly fine?
