Edited by Seldser: 1/27/2015 8:38:42 PMthe furthest Dwarf Planet is 90377 Sedna with a suspected Aphelion of 936 AU (936 times further from the Sun than Earth at it's furthest point in orbit)
-
The furthest planet from the Sun is Uranus, because it's where the sun don't shine.
-
Ha! Good one.
-
Hey... Genius... Pluto is no longer considered a planet... Lmfao... Loser
-
It was when i was a kid, therefore, it will always be a planet to me
-
So ...this lemon guy is D bag
-
Actually it jsut got reinstated as a planet in 2013
-
no it hasn't, it's still a Dwarf Planet because it does not dominate it's orbital neighbourhood
-
It is what it is Just because we don't call it a planet anymore doesn't mean it's right All the planets are different
-
Pluto will always be a planet to me, -blam!- what the scientific community has to say. Pluto your my BOY!
-
I used to think like that, but then I actually looked into why it's not a planet anymore and now I agree it isn't. Pluto isn't even the largest object in the Kuiper belt.
-
Bro I'm larger than Pluto, not gonna start calling myself a planet. But being a planet was all that Pluto had and now he's a -blam!-ing dwarf! It ain't fair!
-
It's not classed as a planet due to it's size, but it'll always be a planet to me too, plus a Disney dog!
-
It also can't maintain a proper orbit. It's orbit is an oval instead of a circle

Edited by dilbuck32: 1/28/2015 8:49:41 AMEarth's orbit is an elliptical orbit not a circle.
-
It is?
-
It is indeed. The earth does not go in a perfect circle around the sun, it's an elliptical. Throughout the year we are closer or further from the sun, thus not a circle.
-
Ahh, didn't know that.
