What everyone so far that ive read hasn't realized. Halo has the rings boom they use them everything organic is dead, but if you people would remember the star wars universe had armies if droids all of which are not organic. Now thats a instant win minus the fact that now the entire galaxy is basically a graveyard run by robots now.

I'm pretty sure Halo's have a variable range. You could limit the effects to a single star system if you wanted.

Err, no. Shield Worlds would protect the entirety of the Halo factions, and Halos have controlled fire. Secondly, the flood can convert artificial intelligence. Droids don't stand even the slightest bit of a chance at surviving this.
