Really? Mars is the closest planet to earth!! While yes ice has been found on Mars.
It's not an ice planet.
In fact if you did even the slightest bit research you would know that it's a dry and sandy dessert across the whole surface of the planet.
The extremely high iron content of its soils give the planet a bright redish orange tint that's can be seen from earth.
Thus the nick name "the red planet"
English
No. Pluto is no longer classed as a planet
Sniperkillah...how many planets are there in our solar system? Can you name them? Can you compare your list to the one I quoted? Can you re-read my original question?
-
I guess Neptune isnt a planet in his solar system.

Edited by lickwid elite: 1/27/2015 11:05:43 PMI guess you didnt read all the comments duh

My apologies I did make a mistake Neptune is missing. I must have been infected with stupidity for a moment. I'm a keen astronomer so I can give you any info you wish including all the planets moons distances masses and orbital durations but hopefully my apology will suffice.
-
Don't apologize to us. Apologize to Neptune.
-
Sorry Neptune I promise I'll put you first from now on please don't leave our solar system lol
-
R.I.P. Pluto.
-
It just wanted a little recognition.

I really hope your not being serious
-
Eh? Lol

Mercury Is the closest to the sun. Mars is the fourth planet from the sun. Which comes right after earth. The third planet from the sun. Educate yourself rather than spouting nonsense and hoping no one is gonna call you out on being a retard.

He said Venus is the closest to EARTH, not the sun. Everyone knows Mercury is closest to the sun. The sad part is he forgot Neptune was a planet.

Edited by ZEM: 1/27/2015 10:59:34 PMApparently the guy I was replying to did not. As he swapped mars and Mercury on the list. And no Venus is not the closest to earth. Mars is. The fact that we currently have rovers on Mars and a flag on the moon should tell you that alone. So either way.. Still wrong.
