I lost 2 good friends that night, me and the combat medic came out alive. Both injured but able to go on. Part of me is happy to survive that black night, but as my teammates lost their lives a small part in me at first thought i had to go with them, crazy guilty feelings in time make room for anger and fear. After some time all those feelings go away and u take comfort in that u were there in your brothers final moments and take prode to tell their family and loved ones what great heroes they were and still are
