Why would the furthest planet from the Sun not be covered in ice and look like a desert? Space Magic? These things confuse me

I suppose the deliberate wrong fact in your post really just says "troll" so I don't know why I'm typing this - no one is stupid enough to think that Mars is the furthest planet from the Sun are they? If you really want to question Destiny's astonomy ask question like how you see shooting stars on the moon - a body with no atmosphere? Or why does jump height not differ because of the relative gravities: Earth 9.8 m/s^2 Venus 8.9 m/s^2 Mars 3.7m/s^2 Moon 1.6m/s^2 You should be jumping about 3 times higher on Mars and 8 times higher on the moon for the same energy input.
