  • Not the point. Sound requires a medium (air or liquid) to travel through. Sound is produced by air molecules vibrating and bouncing off one another. In the vacuum of the moon's surface, we shouldn't be able to hear the enemy screaming at us, or gunshots, or anything but Ghost talking to us by radio. Unless there is now an atmosphere on the Moon (in the future).

  • So, scientific objections nullified! The Traveller's magic-science gave us atmosphere on the Moon, along with Earth-level gravity, at the same time we were terraforming Mars, Venus, and Mercury. I'm good with that, I was just making the point, which you agreed with. Nothing is more emblematic of this forum than a 2-day debate between members who actually agree with each other.
