Does anyone still do the dailys????
Pre the DLC, I would make sure I did the daily in an attempt to get Ascendent Material to level up my armor and weapons. Post DLC there's really no point to do the daily missions especially if your weapons are already maxed out and you have the new Raid Armor. I haven't done a daily in a while and the only time I do is when one of my friends is doing it, but I just usually join for the conversation

Yep, I never do much VoG so it's the easiest ascendant material access. Plus it gives a fair amount of xp

Do them occasionally in the hopes of getting shards to save for the next DLC. I need 216 shards to ensure I can upgrade one set of faction armour for each of my characters. Currently have 16 I think :-) Energy I have plenty of.

Same as you man. It was mandatory pre-DLC, now I don't even care whether I do it or not. Don't need anymore ascendant materials.

I do them for the free materials like spin metal and what not. It saves marks

I do it for energy as i still try and max out weapons i'll probably never use. Shards are now completely irrelevant and bungie should implement a system to swap them for radiants along with sapphire wire, hardonic, plasteel.

We're 4 shards from 32, all our weapons are maxed, exotics or raid. We have 50+ ascendant materials. There is literally no point. It really shows how bungie horrifically screwed up end game level progression. Raid gear makes not just gear worthless but the shard economy worthless. But then you continue to use non raid weapons in the raid because they are fully leveled vs your not quite leveled raid weapons. It's just so much facepalm. It's like no one sat down to ask what will happen when questions. No min/max analysis was done. Nothing in the loot system seems thought through at all.

I like the 16 planet mats, but only really do them if I'm waiting for someone lol
