Do you know how hard it is to get a job at these big corporations, though? At least in the art division.
Art schools come to my high school all the time boasting about how they will have 1 or 2 students who worked on CoD.
1 or 2 out of what, 50,000? I never said its a low paying career. It's unstable. Not many jobs require artistic talent.
I do art because it's fun. It's a hobby, not a career to me. But I'm still allowed to voice my opinion on this drawing. It's an open forum

I never said you weren't allowed to voice your opinion, I just disagreed with it. And saying "copying something shows no artistic talent" like its a fact is rude and untasteful. You're entitled to your opinion, but it's still an opinion. And you might see it as a hobby, but he might take it seriously. This thread isn't about you, it's about someone who took the initiative to spend hours on something they were passionate about and shared it with the community. Like I said, you're entitled to your opinion, but they are negative and toxic.

Not negative. Everybody here is calling me a douche, or wrong, or an idiot. I was defending my statement. Just as you're defending your statement that you disagree with me.

Come on man, "copying a picture shows no artistic talent" is very negative. It's definitely not a positive comment. How would you feel if I told you the piece of work you put up showed no artistic talent?
