Just watching the walking dead special on AMC and I began thinking... How awesome would it be if destiny had zombies. Think about that. Some disease runs rampant outside the city and makes it's way in, and the civilians we usually see around the tower begin to turn. The guardians cannot be affected from the airborne virus like the civilians are, but if they are bitten... It's the end. Think about a special mode, a little orb on your map while in orbit, that looks exactly like the tower, but is all cracked and glowing green with pieces floating in space around it. And it would be titled "The Apocalypse". And you would enter the tower, but this time, IN FIRST PERSON, and you would start in the beginning, where you normally spawn when returning to the tower. You could have a team of 3, like a normal strike. But you just last as long as you can, and there would be more spots that you could enter or open by gaining enough light or finding a key of some sort. For example, doors that usually can't open, would be able to be opened... And normal places that we see when in the tower, would have to be opened by gaining enough light... By killing the infected! The rounds would get harder and harder, very similar to CoD zombies. The tower protected us from the forces of DARKNESS... NOT a brain eating zombie, infectious disease... What a thought this would be. You may unlock armor every few rounds and the higher and higher you get... The better the armor. Let's say level 40 you get a legendary or exotic piece of armory or weapon.... That you could use while blasting the heads off of zombies! Each round would bring more and more zombies, hordes upon hordes! The tower would look all destroyed and broken with places around the tower broken down and on fire. Just talking to my friend and he says "What if an Exo was bitten? They don't have a bloodstream like humans or awoken do..." And I say, "The disease is do bad... Your Exo slowly begins to shut down and break, losing it's memories and thoughts." And of course, a human and awoken just slowly rot away and turn into a flesh eating monster. Anyways this would probably NEVER happen, but how many new players would it bring, and how amazingly AWESOME would it be?
