I've been playing all morning. I've done 3 of the vanguard strikes. I'm level 24 and still can't get any legendary stuff. Everytnig I get is below what I have. Getting a little frustrated. I'm doing everything on 20 and up. Where does the legendary stuff drop?

2 RepliesI'm with you. Lvl 31. I've maxed out my weekly strikes and done a ton of bounties--nothing to speak of worthwhile. I stayed New Monarchy until I got all their good armor/weapons, and now I'm back to just Vanguard (I think...). Didn't even get a message this morning after finish Gold in a public event. Feelin' a little gyped frankly. Seems like some folks have far better luck than I do on drops. Both of my exotics I've purchased- same for most of my legendary weapons and armor. Saving up for something good from Xur if he'll ever sell something good.

I'd say take off the FWC item and level Vanguard to 3 first, it's much easier to collect Vanguard marks than Crucible, since you get them from several places and events.

Don't rely on drops. Try to level up your vanguard rank for the commendation and just buy your gear from the vanguard. Much faster

Do all the bounties, to include Eris. Make sure you equip your vanguard gear. Chase down public events and do the ROC Strikes. This will max out your marks and help you rank up. Don't change between factions until you are level 3.
