Is it after their first raid?
Just to clarify I have had this game since release(a few weeks after) so I am not a Christmas noob.

When you no longer hear Xur's silver bells as he flys into the Tower.

I started playing before Christmas on the Xbox... Then got a Ps4 in December. But am I still a noob?

Edited by ThE lBiZzNeSs: 2/2/2015 5:39:51 AMAfter the next Christmas, only then will they be given the right to call the new Christmas noobs "Christmas noob."
-
Never, least not till next Christmas.
-
In all honesty when they have vault rid gear and are capable of running hard without constantly messing up as a 31. I can't stand getting in VoG hard only to find a 31 with blue unmixed weapons being carried. That is when they are no longer a Christmas Noob. When I join the raid and don't question if I will have to carry you then you are good.

Edited by Uber: 2/2/2015 5:05:45 AM- 5+ Raids - Knows how to use relic/sword - 2000+ Grimoire - Only Legendary or better weapons and armor - At least 1 exotic weapon and 1 exotic armor (not purchased) - Maxed out both subclasses on their main Edit: I can understand not knowing how to use the relic, maybe due to an arrogant teammate or your team refusing to let you use it based on level and/or class, etc. But definitely seek out learning how. Maybe watch some videos on YouTube.

When we can't tell the difference from your person/forum posts...

When they reach 2000 grimoire in my opinion.

After a few months the Christmas Noobs can't be distinguished anymore because they should be caught up. Then I would just have to assume that noobs arent christmas noobs.
-
Atheon needs to pop the Christmas Noobs cherry.
-
When they achieve 2500+ grimoire
-
When you didn't buy it at Christmas.
I'm kidding, the noob title should end once you've beat the story.... So a day after you got it? :D
Once you get the platinum trophy along with flawless raider then we'll talk.

Never

Edited by Captain Subtext: 2/2/2015 4:48:44 AMI hate to say it, but I doubt they'll ever shake that moniker. Look at TF2. When it became free, everyone mocked the new players as being "free2plays" "f2p" etc. It. Has. Been. Years. Since. Then. People still use variations of that as a general insult. So I don't think people who got Destiny for Christmas will ever stop being called that, regardless of their skill, grimoire, exotics, or anything else.
-
Technically always a christmas noob but i would say after 30 or so raids and a 2400 grimoire is reasonable
-
I class it as a few things. When they have a grimmore score over 2000. Or When they've beaten the raids multiple times, both VOG and Crotas end (CE only if They have DLC).

2000+ grimoire, max level and completed both raids.
i say both because vog is not required to max level
-
Once a Christmas noob always a Christmas noob
-
Always
-
The term "Christmas noob" just means that you got the game for Christmas. So technically, they should always be called one.

After he has 1800 grimore and has completed atheon on hard 10 times, crota normal- 10 times and hard crota 1
-
