So i beat crota with a team within 10 minutes. All 32. Everyone knew what they were doing. Unlike the hours trying to find a team that can actually do it. Im tired of hearing
"I dont have any heavy ammo."
"Im 31 but im good" <no i have a 31 and refuse to go into in it because all u could do is sit back and hope not to die. (the whole get good comments try it)
"So whos sword? (The hunter says)"
" i dont have x ability unlocked yet".... maybe level it up dickhead.
I was in with 4 31s and a 32. As a 32 myself i was not gonna sit there for 5 hours because u can't understand that it is a big difference.
EDIT: just did it on my 31 hunter not hard ghorn and stay alive. Only reason? I have a team that only 1 died.
Again its not impossible but MOST 31s ruin it for ALL. If your a random 31 i dont know i won't be in your game
EDIT 2: for all the people 31s can be good! Im not saying they aren't. Im saying 31s are MORE likely to suck. There is more population of them. A 32 has A HIGHER DPS and LESS likely to die. I don't have the time or drive to find out if a random 31 is a good 31. I rather find the 32 that has a good tracking rocket launcher waiting in line.
Hey thats how i want to play.

the people with unmaxxed sub classes is a toss up. Sure a lot tend to be christmas newbs, but you can also run into that with the destiny tweakers who build a new character every week just to run the raid multiple times a week. I know of at least 2 people on my friends list that do this regularly and they are more than capable of carrying the average player with their freshly minted 32's that got just enough xp to hit level 20.
-
We did it in one try with two 31s yesterday. All that counts is experience, communications and skills ( as well as maxed weapons tbh). What's all the fuzz about?

Edited by underhill: 2/4/2015 12:03:38 PM...wait... Your raid K/D on your 32 Warlock is 2.6. A two point six kill/death ratio. ...in PvE You are literally killing 2 and a 1/2 thralls before you die. #speechless

Just beat crota last night with a 31... Its not hard i have beaten multiple hard raids with a 31.
-
I hate the people who are incompetent. Only excuse for dying is the result of a glitch. Can't tell you how many times one of the middle platform guys dies. Seriously? It should not take more than a half hour of attempts to beat crota.
-
It all comes down to skill man, and weapons lol
-
when you get mad like this about a video game...you officially fail at life
-
Half of the 32 s around cant handle crota normal or vog hard... i say hate on them more
-
had a random 31 join our group for the hard raid, asked us if he could raid with us we asked him a couple of questions; "where do you go for orges?" his answer: "down in the middle" we all laughed told him no way but we also said we dont mind carrying you! but he still left on his own lol smh
-
Level does not come before skill as I have beaten Crota on hard as one of my 3 31's. Go check I have the shader, sparrow an scout rifle on my warlock
-
You calling people dickheads is like shit telling vomit it stinks.
-
After reading this post can you honestly say you'd rather have a bad lucky 32 than a good 31?
-
get your skills up. If you can't beat the raid with 31s by now, you're just bad.
ps. That was two weeks ago.
-
This is how this dude beat it in 10 mins... http://youtu.be/G_GGyalip2s
-
Did Crota yesterday, one 32 warlock and swordcarrier, the rest rest 31's , entire raid took us 45min and we had a few without may runs. As long as people do what the leader tells them and pay attention , its no problems.. Btw VoG is so much more fun than crota. Ps I look more at the Gilmore , above 2500, Your probably ok..
-
That K/D tells me that you are the one getting carried.
-
Grammar makes an argument, or in this case, doesn't.
-
Welcome to destiny. Btw it really depends on player skill and common sense.
-
I can agree with you on the not being prepared part as far as ammo synths and what not, but I've beat hard Crota with 2-3 31's in the group (one of them being me for my Titan) you just gotta have a 32 swordbearer and you're good. Also don't always assume the hunter is taking the sword, I've seen some badass warlocks rip him up and a pretty decent Titan even. Sword bearer isn't exclusive to hunters, skilled players can swing the sword with any class
-
I think that's fair enough. Whereas "everyone's gotta have Gjallahorn" is simply nonsense and not a valid criticism, people turning up unprepared is not acceptable. I only run Crota on my 32 because if I was on one of my 31s I'd feel like I was being carried. Ammo synths, knowing the strategy, having the right type of guns etc is everyone's responsibility. It's a team effort, everyone must pull their weight. However, although I agree that it is the hunter's obligation to run the sword, it can be difficult to learn how as no one has the patience to run the fight with a new Swordbearer while he learns the ropes.

This blerb screams 'I was abused as a child'.
-
I understand what your saying besides being a 31. I have a 31 character and do crota easy with him without hiding or being carried
-
You're like the coolest guy. Ever.
-
You... are a tool.

Edited by SarsparillaGorilla: 2/4/2015 11:12:56 AMIf you're an incompetent idiot that means you're bad at being an idiot which means you're actually praising the intelligence of the raiding community.

Edited by Ouara: 2/4/2015 11:10:53 AMThat's BS - you can go 31 and noone more? We did Hard with 2 guys with 31. It depends on skill not level. Crucial things are not to die, have good tactics, and great timing. That's it. Propably 2 31 is max for hard CE, but it's doable.
