If the platform is mirrored across the center, then whoever's doppelganger you shoot, your own doppelganger will shoot the un-mirrored version of that person. It won't work, you just have to have intelligent AI dark guardians. Your edit regarding the section was even more confusing. Any kind of mirror produces the exact same result flipped (not reversed) so no matter who you shot or where, you would always have a doppelganger shooting the un-mirrored version of someone.
