It will work. Believe me I spent about an hour trying check for this myself. The only way that it becomes impossible is if there is a center mirroring point, but your doppelganger doesn't reflect what you do, but rather copies what you do. So if you shoot right, your doppelganger will shoot to his right, which is your left. If this was the case, then your doppelganger will always shoot your friend if you shoot your friend's doppelganger. If they mirrored like how I edited to be, then if you shoot right, the doppelganger will shoot to his left in order to reflect what you did and they won't necessarily hit your friend. For example, you stand on the edge of the circular platform and so will your doppelganger but on the other end of the platform. If your friend is to your right, and his doppelganger is to your left, and you shoot left, so will your doppelganger, completely avoiding your friend. Now had the doppelganger done the the exact same input that you do on your controller, then you'd shoot left, and your doppelganger will shoot to his own left, which is where your friend is.
