Not my video, https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=b13vuS7xrlo its being posted everywhere. As if this is cheating.
It's not. This is exactly what a potential battle against 2 very good teams would like like. Nova bombs and golden guns popping bubbles while strikers and blade dancers get in to some cqc and all the whole defender titans spawning bubbles.
Is this match 1 sided? Absolutely but because thier opponents are completely unprepared, not working together, not feeding each other orbs, they just can't hang.
So mad props to the guys that figured this out. Maybe, just maybe there will be some teamwork going on now in pvp a bit. When I see an enemy super I always super if I can use mine to shut theirs down.
If you think this is cheating or an exploit you are everything that is wrong with this community and probably suck or have no friends to do this with.
I cant wait to do this and to hopefully run into it so I can record some epic super battles.
Edit**
Deej is "looking into this" and if you agree that this should at least ride out to see how it's used in the future, at least for a short time, bump this thread.
Edit 2**
If you think this is cheating all I can say is listen to the first 20 seconds of this video https://m.youtube.com/?#/watch?v=urq9Lef_3T4
Edit 3**
Literally more than a dozen counters to this strat are listed below by random forumers. This is not hard to beat and takes 2 coordinated supers. Keeping it down takes more teamwork and without the lead this strat is useless. Get gud kids.
Edit 4**
Only way to nerf this is to nerf the titan in pvp. Let's not go there.
Edit5**
Apparently sunsingers feel left out of this strategy. If it helps create balance and define job roles simply let the sunsinger be the orb spawner and change the titan perk to generate orbs from kills inside the bubble vs just taking damage from the bubble.
Credit to whoever gave me that idea I'll find your name in a bit or pvt message me my bad
Edit**6
I heard they found a change, can anyone confirm ?

Can anyone post a video showing the strategies used to counter this "teamwork" of infinite supers? I really would like to see it so I can git gud. I'll wait patiently.
-
So I'm seeing orb sharing a lot more in strikes. That's fxcking awesome
-
Infinite supers? That's pathetic. Get some gun skill.

Please stop with the ''teamwork'' bullshit. Yes, ok, in the dictionary definition of teamwork, they work as a team, I give you that. Stating that this is how the game should be played is a completely stupid statement that as not been thought of a second. Let me detail that ''awesome strat'' : 1: Group-up with a bunch of dude (titan players can suck hard at crucible, doesn't matter, pick them on LFG if you want) Hardest part... 2: Wait for the super to be ready (which happen over time inevitably) 3: Regroup in center of map and use supers 4:.... 5: Profit! Important notice: -More orbs than necessary are created (Surplus) -Orbs created do not disappear after death This ''strat'' is a pure example of an exploit based on design flaws. There is no way this was the desired way crucible was supposed to be played in the developper'S perspective, stating otherwise is stupid. They couldn't have thought about it, heck, it tooks several months for millions of players to sort this out. If you think a second about what would be the same game with two teams doing the same thing you would rapidly understand that it is an exploit and absolutly not how PVP should be played. First, flags would become completely useless. Points are based on kills, which are multiplied by the number of flag you have. Without any flag you still gain points and it would be counter productive to run around trying to cap flag as it would result in instant death most of the time. Getting away to much of your bubble village would be far too risky. (attacking a stronghold is always harder than defending it) As soon as one team would be ahead in points, they would start played extremely defensively, letting timer do the job. Camping to its finest. Attacking the winning team would be highly risky, each failed attempt increasing the lead. And planning to chase the village by moving your own village closer could result in just the winning team moving the village around the map also. (would be funny as hell, but still broken). Also, map would become one sided for most of them as there are key points that would be way stronger that could be easily defended at the beginning of the round if you spawn close. So basically: flags useless, camping, uneven map layout, winning with timer running out. Sounds pretty funny and intended right? If you have played any game of any kind on a competitive level (for example, Counter Strike), you would see easily that this is broken and unintended. Calling this a strat or a good teamwork makes me sad for real competitive game out there. No skill involved here, can be nailed within 30 minutes of practice.

That's completely retarded, and a prime example of why there should be a mode where Supers are disabled and Friendly Fire is turned on - essentially a Hard Core mode. I don't think Nerfing Titans directly is a good idea because that would hurt PvE, but Bungie can't just leave this alone this has GOT to be nipped in the bud ASAP.

First off, I would like to state that yes, this is not cheating. I'll give you that much. It's a feature in the game that anyone can use. However, that does not mean it isn't game breaking. Infinite supers is just dumb. If that were the intention of the game, why not just have Time's Vengeance on in PVP, where supers recharge the moment they are used? And yes, there are counters to this... momentarily. Because even if someone smashes through the bubbles killing them all, one of two things is still going to happen. Everyone using this is super charged again anyways, or there are a ton of orbs on the ground waiting for them to come back. "Congrats, you killed them all. Oh, they've put the bubbles back up." The PVP in this game was awkward and unbalanced to begin with, so even though I have plenty of friends to attempt this with, none of them want to play PVP in this game because it was already a mess, and this isn't going to make them want to come back to it. An FPS shouldn't come down solely to who can out-super the other team. I personally can't wait for super disabling playlists, at which point I might actually play PVP again.

Could probably shut the whole thing down if a Titan with death from above could get high enough without them noticing. Or if a Bladedancer got in there. Or if two voidwalkers with vortex launched their novas one after the other.

This is the kinda shite that makes a brother not wanna play PvP. I go in alone or with 2, maybe 3 tops. Never witha full 6. If I was getting wiped like that, I'd hate PvP. Yep, I'm crying, but also saying what so many of you are thinking; how can you enjoy coming up against a proper PvP team when you're just going in casual style? My solution? Crucible as it is and another version for competetive teams. And for the trolls, savour my tears, they taste like meat.
-
This just supports my theory of how orbs shouldn't be in PVP.
-
Tactical.
-
this is exactly how PvP should be played
-
I just wanna say that I'd love to be a fly on the wall in Bungie's "Situation Room" while this topic is being discussed.
-
I would love to imagine this in Iron Banner
-
Look Clutch something we agree on - this is great teamwork - only nubs would call this cheating
-
Tbh, this isn't teamwork, this is spamming the bubble for orbs. But, if there isn't a rulebook stating that you can't spam orbs, then its allowed. lol
-
Sounds like somebody is looking to use a cheap tactic to buff their k/d.
-
Infinite teamwork? You mean spastically running alone to a control point to immediately die? ;)
-
This is what it means to become legend Guardians! Get with it you dreg heads!
-
My team actually used similar strategies in september and october we just didnt share it or record it for anyone. It takes a co-ordinated team to pull off and also to shut down. Which it should. The problem is simply how easy it is to be matched against randoms when in a full fireteam. But really all the kids crying about it are essentially saying " waahhh nerf teamwork, its too OP"
-
My fire team and I founded this, we call it bubble buddies.
-
Can somebody explain how this is possible. What perks is the titan using that's making it rain orbs
-
I would like someone on the oposing team to try this when I'm in a game. Why didnt the hunters just go stealth, use their supers and demolish the Titans? #huntermasterrace
-
Lol. Cheaters
-
I saw another thread like this Pegboi DeeJ replied Said they'd fix it
-
Great teamwork
