Class specific exotics: in the taken king, we're suppose to be getting some. Let's see what you guys can come up with.

Toxotics: this is basically an exotic with an amazing perk but it is also hurts you somehow.
Not really doing a competition because I'm very inconsistent.
Edit 7/24: Glad to see we're getting some traffic going again. I've decided to change what this forum is about. I want it to be a creation outlet for everyone to share their ideas, not just for exotic gear. Hopefully you guys like the change. I'll try and include some examples.
Edit 6/11: Wow, I'm surprised that people actually want this forum to stay alive. I'm sorry for being silent for so long so I've responded to a couple of posts. I'll try and respond to anyone else that adds something. Also I'm going to look for the list of exotics that I have from the last competition. I'll post it when I find it. Gunslinger

Description: Don't fall prey to the tricks of a mad jester. You will regret it.
Design: a normal hunter helmet with a white smiling mask surrounds the front of the helmet.
Attributes: Strength
Upgrades: melee attack speed, orbs regen melee energy
Exotic upgrade: Dancing Joker- the gunslingers throwing knife leaves a dancing after image of the guardian on the spot that it is thrown and lasts 8 seconds. In pve, they take aggro from enemies. In pvp they show up on the radar as enemies.[/spoiler]

Type: Titan helmet
Description: When faced against the will of a king, one must ask, "How do I repent?"
Design: Golden helm with a crown melted into the top.

Upgrades: Grenades give more super energy, killing minions of the darkness grant more super energy

Design: a grey warlock helm with small void particles surrounding it.
Attributes: Intellect, discipline
Upgrades: melee hits replenish grenade energy, more super energy from genade kills
Exotic Upgrade: Abyss Gravity- vortex grenades and nova bomb have an increased radius for their damaging fields. They also have a strong singularity effect that pulls people in its radius to the the center.

But how about an exotic helm or boots centred around the angel of light perk on sunsinger warlock, ( for those non sunbros out there this perk let's you float in air for a few seconds when you ads while in air). My idea is maybe increase duration of float and increase damage resistance maybe even move around a little (around corners etc). Praise the sun

Design: A golden, fancy grenade launcher that shoots the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch Attributes: high range, low rate of fire, low reload speed, deals arc damage, extremely high impact, and has only 1 shot. Initial Upgrades: Barrels (Aggressive Ballistics, Smooth Ballistics, Accurized Ballistics), Grenades and Horseshoes, Stat Mods (Fitted Stock, Single Point Sling, Javelin) Exotic Upgrade: Holy Hand Grenade- Impact is significantly increased. Kills with this weapon reduce all cool-downs.

[b]Errant Helm[/b] [i]In battle you have two weapons, yours and your opponents. [/i] Exotic helm. Like crest of alpha lupi, it comes for all three classes. But for each it looks only marginally different. It looks like a silver gladiator helmet with the faceplate and everything was turned into a guardian helmet, it is dented and scratched. Exotic perk: enemies that you kill with precision damage while wearing this helm will drop their weapons. Picking up a weapon will add a fourth slot on your weapons with the taken weapon in it. The taken weapons will often have very little ammo. Killing more enemies that drop the same weapon will drop ammo for it. Taking a different weapon will cause you to drop one you are already carrying, other wise to drop it press down on the d-pad while holding it.

[b]D20[/b] [i]It's all in the luck, my friend.[/i] Exotic hand cannon Nostalgia reference- Dungeons and Dragons Looks like a red and black hand cannon with a small golden 20 carved and inlaid into both sides of the barrel near the grips. Exotic perk: DM's favor: hitting an enemy with this weapon has a 1 in 20 chance of doing quadruple damage, and a 1 in 200 chance of instantly killing any enemy except for raid bosses which it would drop to 1/4 health. This weapon also is kind of based of of maerun's (is that the right spelling?) razor from skyrim.

The Dude's robe- exotic Warnock armor. Not sure where to go with it, but come on... it's the dude's robe. Also considered the power glove as exotic gauntlets, but they would be the no land beyond of armor...

Infinity Gloves [i]I need the powerstones![/i] Any class Looks like the Infinity Gloves from the Marvel universe Upgrades: Faster Melee and Regen Health when you pick up an orb. Exotic Upgrade: The Powerstones: Infinite primary ammo taking damage increases damage to all majors and ultras for the next 60 seconds and doing damage during this time has a large chance to drop orbs.

This is an idea from another post I can't even remember how it came up but we ended up with the idea of an "exotic" bow The bow deteriorates over time the worse it deteriorates the less damage it does, the only way to repair this is via the gunsmith The bow shoots light arrows and can be changed to shoot any type of damage (arc,void,solar) each arrow has to be found or bought and can be retrieved from enemy's bodies as long as it hits their crit spot The upgrades are mainly for arrows to travel faster and for the arrows to be drawn more quickly The bow obviously has drop off over distances and would be affected by other world factors Add anything to this you like but the idea is basically that bows make every game better so why shouldn't they with destiny

When timer hits ZERO, an orbital laser fire at the location of the fired needle. The laser itself only deals massive damage to one location, and has no blast radius. Initial Upgrades: [i]Didn't Know That Was a Rocket[/i]: Orbital laser fire a high blast radius rocket instead of a laser. [i]Didn't Know That Was A Mirror[/i]: Orbital laser fires three smaller angled lasers that spin around each other. Exotic Upgrade: [i]Didn't Know It Got That Strong[/i]: Replaces all upgrades and fires a large laser, and if all the damage hits a target, surrounding area explodes. The point is that you found an interesting looking devise, didn't know what it does, and when you used it it did more damage than intended. It has direct control over a weakened orbital doomsday satellite controlled by Rasputen, but you didn't know that. You accidentally annihilated a Fallen Walker with the thing, and the best thing you could think to say at the moment was "Oops, my bad".

Name: Taken Weapon Slot: Special Weapon Type: Sniper Rifle Rarity: Exotic Elemental Damage: Void Design: Looks, acts, and slowly reloads like a crossbow with a magazine for 4 shots per mag. Special Perk 1: My Enemy's Disarray Affect: Causes enemy grunts (vandals, thralls, acolytes, shanks, cursed thralls, dregs, vex, hobgoblins, and cabals) to go berserk against their own. If they survive 30 seconds of berserk combat, they will kill themselves (affects two at a time; after two are affected and on their onslaught, the crossbow causes the damage and recoil of Patience and Time). The 3 Mid-Perks: Field Scout: Increases Maximum Ammo Capacity Perfect Balance: Increases Weapon Stability Life Support: Faster Reload When Near Death Special Perk 2: Two Birds, One Stone Affect: It locks on and shoots two enemies at a time (after this perk is gained, My Enemy's Disarray can affect four grunts at a time).
