Exotic Maker. Perk Maker. Sublcass Maker

Edit 7/25: For people having trouble with ideas, here's two themes that may help. Theme #1 Class specific exotics: in the taken king, we're suppose to be getting some. Let's see what you guys can come up with. Theme #2 Toxotics: this is basically an exotic with an amazing perk but it is also hurts you somehow. Not really doing a competition because I'm very inconsistent. Edit 7/24: Glad to see we're getting some traffic going again. I've decided to change what this forum is about. I want it to be a creation outlet for everyone to share their ideas, not just for exotic gear. Hopefully you guys like the change. I'll try and include some examples. Edit 6/11: Wow, I'm surprised that people actually want this forum to stay alive. I'm sorry for being silent for so long so I've responded to a couple of posts. I'll try and respond to anyone else that adds something. Also I'm going to look for the list of exotics that I have from the last competition. I'll post it when I find it. Design: a normal hunter helmet with a white smiling mask surrounds the front of the helmet. Attributes: Strength Upgrades: melee attack speed, orbs regen melee energy Exotic upgrade: Dancing Joker- the gunslingers throwing knife leaves a dancing after image of the guardian on the spot that it is thrown and lasts 8 seconds. In pve, they take aggro from enemies. In pvp they show up on the radar as enemies.[/spoiler] Striker [spoiler]Name: Rulers Helm Type: Titan helmet Description: When faced against the will of a king, one must ask, "How do I repent?" Design: Golden helm with a crown melted into the top. Attributes: Intellect Upgrades: Grenades give more super energy, killing minions of the darkness grant more super energy Exotic Upgrade: Monarch's Wrath- Fist of havoc does more damage and kills with your super grant the titan an armor of light that lasts 5 seconds.[/spoiler] Void walker [spoiler]Name: Abyss Gravity Type: warlock helm Description: Return to me... Design: a grey warlock helm with small void particles surrounding it. Attributes: Intellect, discipline Upgrades: melee hits replenish grenade energy, more super energy from genade kills Exotic Upgrade: Abyss Gravity- vortex grenades and nova bomb have an increased radius for their damaging fields. They also have a strong singularity effect that pulls people in its radius to the the center. [/spoiler] Sun singer [spoiler]Name: Flight of Hermes Type: Warlock boots Description: True freedom is only known to the sky's. Design: Navy blue pants with large golden wings on the outer left and right side of the feet. Attributes: Discipline Upgrades: heavy ammo, speed reload primaries Exotic upgrade: Flight-extends the duration of angel of light. Grants a speed boost and better control while airborne.[/spoiler] Defender [spoiler]Name: Dynamo Luminescent Type: Titan chest Description: Bring forth the light. Design: A dark blue armor piece with an orb of light inside the chest and two small ones on both shoulders. Attributes: Intellect, Discipline Upgrades: bonus special ammo, reload speed for pulse rifles Exotic upgrade: Light Giver-Gift of light(orb gens with force barrier kills), gift of the void(damage to ward dawn gens orbs), and iron harvest(chance for orbs with heavy kills) are free perks. Design: boxing gloves Attributes: strength Upgrades: melee speed, grenade hits give melee energy Exotic: gives striker storm fist a stun ability as well as a knock back effect. Design: bullets up and down the sleeves with grenades around the shoulder Attributes: Discipline Upgrades:orbs replenish health, melee replenishes grenade energy Exotic upgrade: Specialist- Doubles the amount of clusters from Swarm and Skip grenades. Attributes: Strength Initial Upgrades: +2 Armor stat (can exceed normal cap), Special weapon reload speed Exotic Upgrade: Nary a Scratch - Small chance (1 in 5 maybe) for ordinary projectiles (not rockets or ogre eyeblasts) to ricochet off of you and deal no damage. Design: Heavy set shoulders and guantlets, that look similar to current day riot gear. Adds a baton, and pepper spray to your belt. Gloves have steel studs on the knuckles. Attributes: Discipline Initial Upgrades: Grenade damage restores melee energy, activating your super instantly restores melee energy Exotic Upgrade: Arrest - Dramatically increases melee attack speed, and increases melee lunge distance. Dealing damage with a melee restores a small amount of health, but does not trigger health regeneration. Players damaged by this weapon lose a significant portion of their special and primary ammo. First from the backpack, and if that's empty then the magazine. [/spoiler] [spoiler]Name: Salty Type: Primary Sniper Description: "Taste it! Taste it and cry!" Design: It's a harpoon gun, with rusted chains and tattered cloth hanging off of it. Initial Upgrades: Has velocity stat like a rocket launcher, and instead of Blast Radius it has Force. Upgrades to choose between the two, but cannot increase magazine size above 1. Exotic Upgrade: Creatures hit by this harpoon gun have their speed reduced significantly for a few seconds, are knocked back with significant force, and if they impact a solid object may become pinned for a short time.             Name: Mask of Twisted Fate Type: Helmet - All Classes Description: If you knew who you were, you won't know now. Design: The metal appears bent over the face of the wearer. One half appears to be joyous and happy, excited by the thrill of battle. The other looks vicious, angry, wicked. The mask itself appears to move, bend, and speak. It's often been called a creature of it's own. It appears as though the light and the dark both form upon the wearer's head, and thus their mind. Attributes: Insanity Upgrades: Tier 1 - Melted Vision - Your super no longer acts as it should. The world melds with itself, showing only darkness and light. "While your super is activated, you will be able to damage anyone. Titans, Hunters, and Warlocks all gain a new super while wearing this mask, a sword that appears to be made of light and darkness will spawn, and you will be tasked to defeat all enemies around you. Allies, Enemies, all shall succumb to insanity. Tier 2 - Controlled Chaos - Your vision clears, but only slightly. Your allies pulse with radiance, unlike those of the darkness. "Your super now provides you with clearer vision, but at a cost. You may no longer revive your allies, for who are your allies anyway? Opt. 2 - Tier 2 - Useful Insanity - You've wondered what insanity is since you've dawned the mask. Now, it will show you. "You have no control of your super. It activates randomly throughout any battle, and has no cool down meter. The Insanity tribute now effects your super, grenade, and melee attack. Now you have random chances to lose your grenade or melee ability, or instantly have a second ready to use. You still know not who you side with, and what's worse, you don't know if you side with yourself. Exotic Upgrade - Twisted Fate - Ah, so you've come this far. Good. Now you shall see where your mind has lead you. "This perk is unknown to those who have not unlocked it's power. But from the legends, it's said you'll be lost to the darkness by the time you find out." This belongs to a story, and the mask to a man. For what I know of it, it's very presence bends the light around it. The chances of finding it? Well, it existed during the Golden Age, and is little more than legend now. You tell me.

            • Saberwulf (Pulse rifle) I can't perfectly come up with stats, but I was thinking of something like this: two shots are normal bursts and the third has the damage of a scout rifle such as the Fang of Ir Yut. I know it was a pretty crappy job of explaining it, but the idea is still there.

                Gone to dust Weapon:hand cannon Built in perks:solar damage Disintegration First perk:crowd control kills with this weapon increase damage for a short time Exotic perk:GONE TO DUST Percision kills make the disintegrated body explode releasing solar dust burning all enemy's in the area This weapon has high impact with a four shot mag good reload is ok same with stability range is around medium and reloads one bullet at a time makes a sound that is like the sound of patience and time combined with ice breaker like a whistle boom The weapon is dirty with dust from its killed enemy's and has lightning in a solar color going over the gun I try to make the gun so it feels like your using a golden gun but not really Description "I saw the gun its owner was coming right at me but I looked at the gun I saw a bright light then-" -a minion of the darkness NOTE this is not as op as the golden gun

                  • The firing fist (machine gun) :The only real question is who won? The flurry of fists or the one hit wonder? Ammo capacity: 50 First perk: outlaw Second perk has two choices: choice 1: Blind fury: fire two bullets with every shot fired. Small chance of shots exploding. Choice 2: One Hit Wonder: replace magazine with a single nano nuclear missile which deals massive damage. Pretty much this gun would be built to either spew bullets as fast as possible or the take a gamble and use the perk to have one in the chamber and have to make that shot count or risk being taken out. The reason it would best be a MG is due to the fact it would give the gun a longer reload making one hit wonder truly make you have to pull off that one shot making it truly a "one hit wonder"

                        • Headless horseman. You can only get this helmet during halloween and every class can wear it. Description: Trick or treat! Exotic upgrade: Headless - You don't take precision damage.

Design: Bloodied chainmail like design with large pauldrons on the shoulders. The pauldrons have a Phoenix emblem etched onto them. Attributes: Intellect 60, Strength 45 Initial upgrade: Increase melee attack speed. Exotic upgrade: Siege break - increase the area affect of the fist of havoc and makes the titan a little stronger for a few seconds after the super. Name: Unrelenting Surge Type: Titan Gauntlets Description: Force. Balance. Push. Design: Grey/white design with sharp edges and has strange symbols etched into it(similar to Skyrim's Dragon language.) Attributes: Strength 100 Initial upgrade: (Idk any thoughts?) Exotic upgrade: Unrelenting force - melee attacks have a 40% chance to knock enemies back and 5% to blind them for a split second. (Both can happen at same time as they're same upgrade.)

                                Sunwalker: warlock helm Base defense of 302 and upgradable to 331 Description: "What better weapons of light is there than the sun itself" 93 intellect 72 discipline Increased heavy ammo capacity and faster reload speed for Auto rifles Exotic upgrade: your nova bomb does solar damage (along with a solar look) and has a chance to partially recharge your super after getting kills with it Design: similar look to Obsidian Mind only the visor is gold and the hem is a slightly glowing white Edit: also your nova bombed a giant solar flare after detonation and has a bloom effect on enemies killed by it and the enemies that explode leave solar flares where they died.

Perks: - Can be Arc, Solar, or Void (Simmilar to Murmur) - First Perk: Spray and Play - Reloading when the mag is empty, dramatically increases reload speed. - Exotic Perk: Wrath of the Elements - All damage dealt to enemies with the same shield type as the designated light type deals additional damage. (Arc Shielded enemies take extra damage arc damage dealt from gun, same for Solar and Void.) Burn: Void Gun type: Scout Rifle Rate of fire: 50 Impact: 70 Range: 40 Stability: 50 Reload: 75 First Perks: Ranged Lens RLS3, Red Dot-Oes, SureShot IS. Second Perks: Snapshot, Single-point Sling, Custom Optics. Exotic Perk: 40% of shots fired make targets move 60% percent slower for 3 seconds. Bullets in Mag: 7-9 Max Bullets: 95 This gun would be more focused in Crucible due to its slow effect on players with quick getaways. This would also be good for those evil wizards that hide behind walls when you take their shields down.
