Exotic Maker. Perk Maker. Sublcass Maker

Edit 7/25: For people having trouble with ideas, here's two themes that may help. Theme #1 Class specific exotics: in the taken king, we're suppose to be getting some. Let's see what you guys can come up with. Theme #2 Toxotics: this is basically an exotic with an amazing perk but it is also hurts you somehow. Not really doing a competition because I'm very inconsistent. Edit 7/24: Glad to see we're getting some traffic going again. I've decided to change what this forum is about. I want it to be a creation outlet for everyone to share their ideas, not just for exotic gear. Hopefully you guys like the change. I'll try and include some examples. Edit 6/11: Wow, I'm surprised that people actually want this forum to stay alive. I'm sorry for being silent for so long so I've responded to a couple of posts. I'll try and respond to anyone else that adds something. Also I'm going to look for the list of exotics that I have from the last competition. I'll post it when I find it. Design: a normal hunter helmet with a white smiling mask surrounds the front of the helmet. Attributes: Strength Upgrades: melee attack speed, orbs regen melee energy Exotic upgrade: Dancing Joker- the gunslingers throwing knife leaves a dancing after image of the guardian on the spot that it is thrown and lasts 8 seconds. In pve, they take aggro from enemies. In pvp they show up on the radar as enemies.[/spoiler] Striker [spoiler]Name: Rulers Helm Type: Titan helmet Description: When faced against the will of a king, one must ask, "How do I repent?" Design: Golden helm with a crown melted into the top. Attributes: Intellect Upgrades: Grenades give more super energy, killing minions of the darkness grant more super energy Exotic Upgrade: Monarch's Wrath- Fist of havoc does more damage and kills with your super grant the titan an armor of light that lasts 5 seconds.[/spoiler] Void walker [spoiler]Name: Abyss Gravity Type: warlock helm Description: Return to me... Design: a grey warlock helm with small void particles surrounding it. Attributes: Intellect, discipline Upgrades: melee hits replenish grenade energy, more super energy from genade kills Exotic Upgrade: Abyss Gravity- vortex grenades and nova bomb have an increased radius for their damaging fields. They also have a strong singularity effect that pulls people in its radius to the the center. [/spoiler] Sun singer [spoiler]Name: Flight of Hermes Type: Warlock boots Description: True freedom is only known to the sky's. Design: Navy blue pants with large golden wings on the outer left and right side of the feet. Attributes: Discipline Upgrades: heavy ammo, speed reload primaries Exotic upgrade: Flight-extends the duration of angel of light. Grants a speed boost and better control while airborne.[/spoiler] Defender [spoiler]Name: Dynamo Luminescent Type: Titan chest Description: Bring forth the light. Design: A dark blue armor piece with an orb of light inside the chest and two small ones on both shoulders. Attributes: Intellect, Discipline Upgrades: bonus special ammo, reload speed for pulse rifles Exotic upgrade: Light Giver-Gift of light(orb gens with force barrier kills), gift of the void(damage to ward dawn gens orbs), and iron harvest(chance for orbs with heavy kills) are free perks. Design: bullets up and down the sleeves with grenades around the shoulder Attributes: Discipline Upgrades:orbs replenish health, melee replenishes grenade energy Exotic upgrade: Specialist- Doubles the amount of clusters from Swarm and Skip grenades.       Exotic sparrow Perhaps obtained from nightfall/raid? A-27 "Skyrider" "We ride on land, why not the sky??" Abilities Boost- Hold (boost button) to boost Aggressive Braking- Hold (brake button) to brake and drift around sharp turns Thrusters- Hold (boost button) and (brake button) to use thrusters to hover in the air about 10 meters above the ground for 5 seconds Thoughts?? Edit- Design Wing design painted on the sides. Thrusters underneath. Trail is white sides are black. Center is based on shader.

                  Exotic hand cannon Name: Manos del Muerte Description: Not one...but two Design: Dual hand cannon revolvers with the right amount of old school and modern. Attributes: One gun has solar dmg, one has arc. L2 to fire left R2 to fire right. Upgrades: Kills with this weapon decrease grenade and melee cool down. Exotic Upgrade: Besos del Diablo: Kills increase these weapons impact until death. Hitting the impact cap causes the user to die via the weapons devouring his soul. Weapons can be reset by switching to alternate weapon at the cost of resetting Devil's Kisses.

                  • Name: The spectrum. Weapon type: fusion rifle. Description: Look at all the pretty colors! Design: Pocket infinity's shape but is glass and has rainbow colored beams that occasionally course through the gun. This guns shots would be random colors. First upgrade: reduces spread when aiming down sights. Upgrade tree: hammer forged, reduced charge time, and agility. Exotic perk: the full spectrum, deals all damage types at the same time.

                      Name: One for You Type: Exotic Sniper Rifle Design: It's all white and has no magazine. This weapon only holds one bullet which it generates every minute and it kills everything except bosses with one shot.

                      • "Sidekick" Exotic Auto Rifle "Come on, Barry. That's it. Use your legs." -Chuck Norris Deals kinetic damage until your sidekick is active. At that point it does Solar for cabal, Void for hive, and Arc for fallen sidekicks. Tier 1 Third Eye Tier 2 Send it Perfect Balance Armor penetrating rounds Tier 3 Sidekick - Enemy killed with final round in magazine joins your fight for 30 seconds.(yes I saw someone mention this to an extent here but couldn't find them to give proper credit. I just finished their thought)

                      • Name: the mute "Take away the sound and take away there screams" Type: exotic auto rifle Description: it has the same base as "for the people" but it's all white with streaks of gold outlining it. It's more smoothed out like "Monte Carlo" though. Just like the "strangers rifles" it has that little flicker of electricity every so pfennig the tip. Sounds like ice breaker when being shot Perks: reduce cool down of grenade, fires slower when aimed down sight. And NO recoil MEANING it stays straight on target Exotic perk: every so often there is a clip that has silent bullets that don't make a sound and when it hits target they don't make a sound and not only that but all the energy that would go into them making astound goes to your life and increases it.

                        (First upgrade the first gun In the game you get and upgrade to legendary then exotic) Legendary version - khostov 76a1 "it's been with me the whole way" Mag size 45 Perk 1 - Rapid fire - makes the weapon fire twice as fast Perk 2 - extended mags - makes the clip store up to 50 rounds Perk 3 - An old friend - whenever a fire team member dies in PVE do double damage and in PVP get 100 extra rounds and do 1.17x extra damage To upgrade into legendary you have to get a new sight from gunsmith from the golden age (10000 glimmer) then you have to go to the cosmodrome and kill called majors or ultras to get weapon parts from the golden age and then return to gunsmith put it all together and then you have to choose one of 2 quests, you can make a Shadow Khostove or a light Khostove, for shadow you have to go to the moon and do the world's grave mission and get info on a dark matter inside the shrine of oryx, then go to the shrine and there is a very hard boss which roars for cursed thrall and hallowed Knights to come. After that inspect the shrine and take the dark matter, combine them using Eris for 50 black wax idols and then it turned into Shadow Khostove "I've been waiting for you" Perk 1 - Dark energy - makes the weapon's last 3 bullets do 3x damage Perk 2 - darkness - while out of ammo and outnumbered by any enemy (PVE) the rifle reacts and makes one of the enemy's kill/distract the other enemies while you get amp Perk 3 - I've been waiting - while you equip this perk it replaces your super with something else, this makes it so whenever you use your super it's clip makes a cool effect and makes the clip a bunch of fading darkness for 5 sec. This will make it have unlimited ammo and shoot 45 rounds per second Light Khostove Talk to the speaker and do the moon mission with the shard of the traveler and take a shard of the traveler to the speaker then go to the black garden mission and kill the divide mind taking divise energy from it, then go back to the speaker he will combine them and send you on a mission to recover a light core (what is inside ghosts) from a certain dead one where you have to kill a VERY HARD fallen boss to get and then return to the traveler he will combine them and give you the exotic Light Khostove "Guardian we knew you wouldn't forget" Clip size = 45 300/350 damage Perk 1 - light energy - 5% chance per shot that while firing a burst of light will launch and blind your enemies Perk 2 - the light is too much - like the shadow Khostove the rifle reacts while you have no ammo left and are out numbered and it turns one or more enemies into a minion of light and distracts/helps kill the enemy while you get more ammo. Perk 3 - light-speed by selecting this perk you switch your super with it and whenever you use your super you get a cool effect that shows light coming or of your gun and when that happens you get unlimited ammo for 5 seconds and it fires 45 shots per second Like or dislike let me know!

                        • This is just an idea for The House of Wolves DLC Shotgun. Since the image wolf represent utter insanity (ghorn) the exotic buff should be shot package (shotgun spread is smaller) and explosive rounds (more of a PvE thing.) This would add relevance to the main DLC weapon unlike the shitchasm.

                          Name: Crystalline Tear [i]Drown them in your sorrow[/i] Primary Weapon Description: This is a primary weapon, but is not a gun. It is an iridescent glass mace, sword or axe (really three different exotic weapons, probably should each have different names). It works as similar to the sword of crota, but the aim trigger puts your guardian into a blocking stance where damage is reduced but movement speed is reduced greatly. If you block an attack right as it would hit, it doesn't damage you and has a chance to deflect back. The weapon would do massive damage quickly, but you would also have to be in melee range. Unlike the sword of crota, it does not contain jump slashes other than straight down and has no super ability of its own. Also, you retain your class grenade and melee ability. Perks: (have to chose one) smasher: damage is doubled against enemies with more than 90% health Slasher: enemies are slowed for 2 seconds after each hit Stabber: hitting an enemy from behind adds extra damage. Exotic perk: mace (offensive defense): blocking reduces all damage by extreme amounts Sword (bleary eyes): after perfectly blocking an attack, you turn invisible for a short amount of time. Axe (drop of crystal): after stance blocking 7 attacks, when you unblock and quickly press the attack trigger you teleport forward. Thanks for reading this all, I know it was rather long.

                        • Names: Grimm's Shorthand Type: Exotic Shotgun Damage: Void Description: The reaper had two weapons. One was only meant to be use for the strongest Guardians. Design: a black shotgun with ancient purple symbols that goes brighter the more kills per clip. Attributes: 6 rounds. Similar stats to "Two in the Morgue" but with better range and damage. Slightly Slower fire rate. Free perk: Return to the Sender Initial upgrades: Third Eye. Flared magwell, Fitted Stock, light weight. Exotic Upgrade: "Grimm's Shorthand" After three kills the remaining shots will deal more damage, faster fire rate, and more range for a shot period of time. Reload speed increases after kills with the upgrade in play.

                          • Name: Eradicus Type: Fusion Rifle in heavy weapon slot - Solar Damage Description: "Bathe them in solar hellfire." Design: Fusion rifle with a massive clip, barrel and lots of orange glowing tubes. Attributes: Shoots one massive, pretty slow moving ball of fire. Insanely long charge time, clip holds one round. Initial Upgrades: Reduced charge time, hipfire accuracy bonus. Aiming speed bonus and the like. Exotic Upgrade: Enemies that wander too close to the projectile are blinded. Basicly a solar BFG.

                          • Maybe it's just me but I don't feel there's enough exotic scout rifles. I mean there's what three/four auto rifles and two pulse rifles. Yet only one scout rifle available to all players excluding the FOAF.
