Exotic Maker. Perk Maker. Sublcass Maker

Edit 7/25: For people having trouble with ideas, here's two themes that may help. Theme #1 Class specific exotics: in the taken king, we're suppose to be getting some. Let's see what you guys can come up with. Theme #2 Toxotics: this is basically an exotic with an amazing perk but it is also hurts you somehow. Not really doing a competition because I'm very inconsistent. Edit 7/24: Glad to see we're getting some traffic going again. I've decided to change what this forum is about. I want it to be a creation outlet for everyone to share their ideas, not just for exotic gear. Hopefully you guys like the change. I'll try and include some examples. Edit 6/11: Wow, I'm surprised that people actually want this forum to stay alive. I'm sorry for being silent for so long so I've responded to a couple of posts. I'll try and respond to anyone else that adds something. Also I'm going to look for the list of exotics that I have from the last competition. I'll post it when I find it. In pve, they take aggro from enemies. Design: Golden helm with a crown melted into the top. Attributes: Intellect Upgrades: Grenades give more super energy, killing minions of the darkness grant more super energy Exotic Upgrade: Monarch's Wrath- Fist of havoc does more damage and kills with your super grant the titan an armor of light that lasts 5 seconds.[/spoiler] Void walker [spoiler]Name: Abyss Gravity Type: warlock helm Description: Return to me... Design: a grey warlock helm with small void particles surrounding it. Attributes: Intellect, discipline Upgrades: melee hits replenish grenade energy, more super energy from genade kills Exotic Upgrade: Abyss Gravity- vortex grenades and nova bomb have an increased radius for their damaging fields. They also have a strong singularity effect that pulls people in its radius to the the center. Design: Navy blue pants with large golden wings on the outer left and right side of the feet. Attributes: Discipline Upgrades: heavy ammo, speed reload primaries Exotic upgrade: Flight-extends the duration of angel of light. Grants a speed boost and better control while airborne.[/spoiler] Defender [spoiler]Name: Dynamo Luminescent Type: Titan chest Description: Bring forth the light. Design: A dark blue armor piece with an orb of light inside the chest and two small ones on both shoulders. Attributes: Intellect, Discipline Upgrades: bonus special ammo, reload speed for pulse rifles Exotic upgrade: Light Giver-Gift of light(orb gens with force barrier kills), gift of the void(damage to ward dawn gens orbs), and iron harvest(chance for orbs with heavy kills) are free perks.             Name: (I cannot name very well...)Cloud 9? Type: Arc Rocket launcher Description: "Who says Lightning cannot strike the same place twice?" Design: Basically a rocket tube, no fancy pieces on top or under, basic framework for a handle system, with a rod coming up from that fixture, curve 90 degree upwards holding sight. (Yes this is a skeleton of a rocket launcher :P The tube itself is slightly (just slightly) wide middle front, and has some silvered, reversed bevel external inside-out rifling on these bands. Some electrical arcs travel along the tube, generally along its top. Attributes:(stats go here or so I'm putting) Generally, the absolute worst blast radius of any rocket launcher but one of the best (if not maxed) velocity, has better stability than most rocket launchers, and absolutely the highest ROF (Comes with perk, No Backpack)... ( 30 seconds per shell (mag=2) Initial Upgrade: Full Auto (fan fire?) 2nd tree -perfect balance -heavy payload -quickdraw Exotic Upgrade: -Nimbus bank Extends the magazine size to 7 Spawns arcbolt seekers (possibly multiple) When Aimed in the air, allows player to float (briefly, or for an extended time, similar to sunsingers but with a rumbling low booming black fog) Summary This rocket launcher, regenerates ammo, has a small blast radius, and can fire rapidly, It is rather weak compared to most, but when it is fully upgraded it shines as a slow charging personally commanded lightning storm. It would not be quiet compared to other rocket launchers, having a crackling booming sound, an visual effect compared to the lightning grenade from its rear when firing), (best used when charged, to deal death from above, otherwise you may waste your rounds; unlike icebreaker, ammo does not convert over to other weapons and does keep ammo on death)

              Name: [u]Shepard[/u] Type: Exotic Scout Rifle (base magazine size of 10 rounds) Description: [i]Silence the lambs.[/i] Design: The base is rather simple, being a Scout Rifle body, similar to [i]The Calling[/i] or [i]Fang of Ir Yût[/i], with the exception of a red "mist" seeping from small cracks in the gun (similar to the green mist seeping from the Necrochasm). The color of the weapon itself is a dark black, while the sight of the gun is a red dot sight, a small lamb taking the place of the red dot. The bottom of the magazine is a sharp point, used for close encounter melee attacks. There is also the words "The Shepard is watching" engraved on the left side of the weapon, assuming you're currently holding it. When you kill something with the weapon, the red cracks in the gun glow bright for a brief few seconds before dying down. Attributes: This weapon uses Solar Damage. Initial Upgrades: The first two upgrades of the weapon are simple ballistic upgrades that do various things (didn't take the time to think of statistics lol). The first actual perk is Zen Moment. The next three perks (in the middle of the tree) are as follows: [b]Single Point Sling[/b] [b]Speed Reload[/b] [b]Quick Draw[/b] Exotic Upgrade: [i][u]Shepard[/u][/i] - Each kill grants three bonus rounds directly into the mag which deal a large amount of damage (not stackable. 30% damage increase. If you reload your weapon, that damage bonus is no more).

              I have one more weapon to share. Name: [u]R74 Catalyst 2.0[/u] Type: Exotic Handcannon (This weapon can hold 6 rounds in the chamber) Description: [i]They said it wasn't powerful enough... Ha! This'll show them...[/i] Design: The design of this weapon is based off of the weaponry of the Cabal. Quite bulky, but quite devastating. When a bullet is fired from the weapon, it makes a deep, intimidating sound, more so than the Handcannons that are already in the game. This weapon used a special melee function. If you're melee ability is recharging, instead of using your traditional melee animation, you hit somebody with the butt of the weapon. Each class still has it's own melee range, damage, and melee speed, so that didn't change (meaning Warlocks still have their god-like melee range lol), only the animation changes. The color of the weapon is gold, with red flames edged into the barrel of the gun, as well as a very intricate design engraved in red in the remainder of the weapon. Attributes: This weapon uses explosive rounds. Initial Upgrades: Like the Shepard, the first two upgrades that affect attachments/ bullets of the weapon are only ballistic upgrades. The first actual upgrade is [b]Clown Cartridge[/b]. The next three perks (in the middle of the tree) are as follows: [b]Perfect Balance[/b] [b]Flared Magwell[/b] [b]Send It[/b] Exotic Upgrade: [i][u]R74 Catalyst 2.0[/u][/i] - Kills with this weapon drastically increase the reload speed for your next reload. Kills also grant a small amount of health back to its user. Well, there's my contribution. I had another Exotic made for another post like this, but it's a little OP, so I'll just leave it out lol

            • I would rather leave the creativity part to Destiny but, I think they should make a gun that doesn't do damage in pve or PvP but, if you shoot a teammates ghost after he died, it would revive them. The shooting style would have to be a scout rifle or sniper. In my opinion, a scout rifle would be better since there's not that many exotic scouts. Also, it would be able to revive the taken teammate, regardless of what game type you're playing.

              Name: Conqueror's Strife Type: exotic primary rocket launcher. Description: It is the end of all empires. It is the forge of all gods. Design: It does not look like any normal rocket launcher. It looks sort of like a mix between a pulse rifle, a scout rifle, and a shotgun. Element: Solar Magazine size: 14 Rate of fire: 2 shots per second Initial Upgrades: Tracking, Third eye, Full auto Exotic Upgrade: Strength of the Phalanx- Shots fired at close range do not damage the user. Other important info: This weapon would have 2 be nerfed A TON 2 balance out its OP perks. The blast radius would be tiny. Third eye and tracking are perks you have 2 unlock. Full Auto and Strength of the Phalanx would be one of those gray perks that are already unlocked. Conqueror's Strife is classified as a rocket launcher, but it is more like the weapon often used by Cabal Centurions. You can only get this weapon from a Cabal raid on hard mode.

                • The master bolt Exotic fusion rifle in the heavy slot "Its presence cause your hair to stand on end" Steampunk look with a satellite dish for a barrel and lots of small tesla coils sticking out of it Mid impact and charge rate , low accuracy, very good handling, absurd recoil, clip size 6 reserve 12 Exotic perk- heaven splitter- you can keep charging to consume more ammo in the clip and when released or the clip is empty all the shots fire at once (7 bolts per round like a normal fusion rifle) What do you think?

                    Name - The Alternate Singularity Type- Warlock boots, because there currently is none. Artwork- Black, thigh high boots etched with purple, circuit board like, constellation maps. The etchings would pulse and appear like futuristic runes. Animation would make the character motion blur while running. Text- "I allowed the singularity to consume me, I am nothing now." Attributes- Discipline and Intellect. Tier 1- Increased secondary ammo capacity Tier 2- Upgrade Armour Tier 3- The Alternate Singularity- Blink movement creates a mimicking character illusion, in a random alternate placement for 3 secs. Blink can be shortly delayed by holding the jump button down. Tier 4- Armour Upgrade X 3 Awesome and creative topic idea, by the way.

                      Reverse Shade Exotic Primary Fusion Rifle To understand your enemy is to love them, to think of them as yourself. Fully automatic, but has to charge after each shot. Just immediately starts the next charge cycle to do it for you. Large magazine(15) , initially decent charge rate, and each shot shoots only 2-3 bursts of energy. However, as you hold the trigger down, the charge rate decreases gradually until it's shooting a near constant rain of energy (peak rate is reached halfway through the magazine). Little to no recoil. Burn type can be switched at will, in between multiple patterns (you can code it to shoot 2 void, then 2 arc, any pattern of any burn type) whilst shooting, you cannot regenerate health. Looks like an auto rifle but matte black, with a magazine that glows the color of the burn of the round that's charging. Magazine actually gets shorter the less rounds that are in the gun's mag. When you reload, magazine falls out of the gun and is reloaded depending on what class you have: If a warlock: magazine is levitated into the gun. If a Titan: gun is held in the right hand, reloaded like a dragunov from Black Ops. If a Hunter: magazine is thrown into the gun and given a little tap to click it in place.

Design: A pair of gauntlets similar to starter pair. They have a small arm cape going from the biceps to the forearms. Attributes: Intellect Initial Upgrades: Melee hits restore grenade energy, grenade hits restore melee energy. Exotic Upgrade: In Jack's Shadow- Grants Shadowjack and Escape Artist as a free perk. Name: Triple Threat Type: Hunter Arm Description: Some people believe that good things come in threes. Hunters believe otherwise. Design: A rugged pair of gauntlets with Roman numerals from I to VI on one arm, and VII to XII on the other. Attributes: Strength Initial Upgrades: Picking up orbs replenishes health. Faster melee attacks. Exotic Upgrade: Overclocked- Chain of Woe and Gunslinger's Trance always grant the 3x bonus, skipping the first two levels. Name: Our Song Type: Warlock Helmet Description: We really do sing to the sun. Would you like to hear our song? Design: Shaped similarly to Obsidian Mind, but with a small trail of fire behind, akin to long flaming hair. Attributes: Intellect Initial Upgrades: Faster Melee Attacks, Exotic Upgrade: Let us Sing- Grants Song of Flame and Viking Funeral as free perks.

                          What about a weapon that does solar damage during the daytime cycle on the planet and void damage during the nighttime cycle on the planet or a weapon that does kinetic damage but if you shoot someone using a void, arc, or solar weapon it will deal that kind of damage Edit: read the ogreland17's better and descriptive idea for this weapon in the replies
