Class specific exotics: in the taken king, we're suppose to be getting some. Let's see what you guys can come up with.

Toxotics: this is basically an exotic with an amazing perk but it is also hurts you somehow.
Not really doing a competition because I'm very inconsistent.
Edit 7/24: Glad to see we're getting some traffic going again. I've decided to change what this forum is about. I want it to be a creation outlet for everyone to share their ideas, not just for exotic gear. Hopefully you guys like the change. I'll try and include some examples.
Edit 6/11: Wow, I'm surprised that people actually want this forum to stay alive. I'm sorry for being silent for so long so I've responded to a couple of posts. I'll try and respond to anyone else that adds something. Also I'm going to look for the list of exotics that I have from the last competition. I'll post it when I find it. Description: Don't fall prey to the tricks of a mad jester. You will regret it.
Design: a normal hunter helmet with a white smiling mask surrounds the front of the helmet.
Attributes: Strength
Upgrades: melee attack speed, orbs regen melee energy
Exotic upgrade: Dancing Joker- the gunslingers throwing knife leaves a dancing after image of the guardian on the spot that it is thrown and lasts 8 seconds. In pve, they take aggro from enemies. In pvp they show up on the radar as enemies.[/spoiler]

Design: Golden helm with a crown melted into the top.

Design: a grey warlock helm with small void particles surrounding it.

Exotic Upgrade: Abyss Gravity- vortex grenades and nova bomb have an increased radius for their damaging fields. They also have a strong singularity effect that pulls people in its radius to the the center.

Rarity - Exotic Magazine Size - 1 Reserve ammo - 7 Reload time - 3 Seconds No recoil Special perk - All enemy majors of the darkness take one shot to kill. Ultras are not included. Perk Column 1: Aggressive ballistics Soft Ballistics CQB Ballistics First Perk: Gambler - Precision kills have a chance to grant ammo back into reserves. Perk Column 2: Increased stability Increased Reload speed Extended mag increased to 2 Second Perk: Court of light - Kills with this weapon cause enemies to explode, causing disorientation to all nearby enemies. This weapon would be great against majors like reaver captains and hallowed wizards. But that's all it would be good for.

Name: the Blacksmith Description: [i]Made it all myself.[/i] Type: Hunter Helm Stats: Strength Perks: switchblade, ashes to asset Exotic perk: all of your abilities do more damage. Design: looks like it was made out off scrap metal. Specifics: the exotic perk makes throwing knife instakill on headshot and blink strike leave you with 1 health. Arcbolt grenade almost instakills, leaving enemy guardians with 10 health. Swarm grenades and their arc counterpart kill if all mini grenades hit. Tripmine and flux are unchanged. Increases super damage by 50%.

When you get it, it has a 50% chance of being black or white. It essentially looks like a gas mask with glowing blue lines running through it. Exotic perk: Due to its narcissism, you can't equip any other exotics, but, you become immune to all debuffs (including but not limited to thorn burn, other exotic weapon non-main-damage effects, weight of darkness, burning, etc) This immunity lasts only for 15 seconds of the debuff. You can also see in the dark.

Exotic perk: Poisonous sting- enemies hit with precision damage from this weapon have a 25% chance to become confused. Controls flip, even for pve enemies. Moving forward moves you backwards, and left moves you right. (And vice versa) camera controls are also flipped.

[b]Madness[/b] [i]Insanity is more of a relative term…[/i] Exotic scout rifle Black body with swirling changing color lines running through it. Exotic perk: every bullet has a chance to do something special. It will always have an element (or kinetic), and sometimes something else. 25%: kinetic 25%: arc 25%: solar 25%: void Other: 30%: nothing else 20%: will be precision hit, no matter where you hit. 20%: double damage 15%: starts health regeneration 10%: will do triple damage over time 4%: will explode, using your grenade at that distance. 0.9%: will act with the damage of a powerful sniper. 0.1%: on a precision hit, will instakill any enemy except for raid bosses.

[b]The Orb Above[/b] [i]Is that? What is that? I think it's a -[/i] Exotic rocket launcher Trait: ammo for this weapon is very rare Exotic perk: when fired, on contact will leave a large, shrieked like orb that fires off hand cannon power rounds for 3 minutes.

Design: Bright white design, along the same lines as the Monte Carlo. Core glows a different colour depending on its function. Has 2 settings, Light's Hope and Death's Demise. Attributes: Arc Damage Upgrades: Tier 1 - Light's Hope, typical fusion rifle setting. 6 shot magazine. Medium damage, medium charge time archetype. - Death's Demise, fires a continuous beam that slowly recharges the shield of any guardians that cross its path. Inflicts very low damage to enemies. Recharging guardian shields also refills the magazine over time. Tier 2 - Red dot scope - Iron sight - Blue holo scope, greatly enhances the target acquisition of friendly guardians. Tier 3 - Glass Half Full: The bottom half of the magazine deals additional damage. Tier 4 - Armor Piercing Rounds - Skip Rounds - Enhanced Battery Tier 5 (Exotic Perk) - Undying Light: Every third direct hit causes the target to be engulfed in light, the target then blasts all nearby targets equal to 50% of the initial hit. (Also applies for Death's Demise perk, recharging a percentage of all nearby guardian shields)

Design: long rifle, sleek navy blue body with black accents, and a picture of a sculpture on the left side of the gun above the mag well. Sight: sure shot IS Mag: 14 High impact scout with slow ROF( like the scholar) Perk 1: Luck in the chamber Center column: stability increase, injection mold or explosive rounds Exotic perk: The valence effect Rounds in the magazine have a chance to boost grenade, melee, and super energy on precision hits but also have the chance to negatively effect recharge time of melee, grenade and super. [b]Odin's Wrath[/b] [i]I hear something needs to be smashed.[/i] Exotic Titan rocket launcher Looks like a glass frame of a rocket launcher was filled with roiling storm clouds, crackling with occasional purple lightning flashes. Perks: grenades and horseshoes, tracking Exotic perk: when the rocket hits, several bolts of void lightning shoot down and strike the point, dealing massive damage. (Very effective against hydras, as the bolts will damage it behind the shield. )

[b]Zeus's Wrath[/b] [i]I am lord of gods![/i] Exotic Hunter special weapon Looks like a pair of crackling gloves when they are equipped. When fired, they shoot upwards at a 45° angle up for awhile then strait down Exotic perk: does arc damage, enemies hit cannot move while in the bolt.

[b]Ra's Wrath[/b] [i]He is a shepherd, but a deadly one.[/i] Exotic warlock autorifle Black and gold, with a small hologram of the sun blazing in front of the muzzle. Exotic perk: deals solar damage, and all you don't have to reload. (All ammo is assumed to be in the magazine.) There is no limit to the amount of ammo you can carry. The gun fires a continuous golden energy beam that doesn't to massive damage, but is sustained.

Stacks up to 3x. Exotic Perk: Precision kills have a chance to refill the mag. 5% chance. Grimoire: What is a god? What does it take to be one? Endless power? Infinite knowledge? Transcending the laws of reality? Immortality? Wield me and all your questions will be answered. Appearance: Grayish Lmg. Single huge drilled barrel. Dual drum mag. Sleek grooves running along the sides and branch out the closer to the mag. The grooves glow white and black inward towards the grooves like the gun is absorbing light and darkness.

The Glutton Toxotic Auto Rifle Description: "Every time I pick up ammo, this weapon eats it. I can't seem to satisfy its hunger." It looks like it has multiple mouths all over it. Some of them have their tongues sticking out and/or start salivating. It's stats are that of an auto rifle with a max rate of fire and very low impact. Kinetic Toxic perk: Ingest-all primary, special, and heavy ammo go towards this weapon instead. Smooth Ballistics Accurized Ballistics Aggressive Ballistics Persistence QuickDraw Field Scout Armor Piercing Rounds Exotic Perk: Purge-this weapon can hold all of its reserve ammo in one clip and deals more damage the longer the trigger is held. The damage bonus from the Purge perk would have a stopping point so it doesn't get insanely op.

[b]Eyes Everywhere[/b] [i]I see you.[/i] Exotic hunter helm (Gunslinger) Perks: Inverse Shadow, Switchblade Exotic Perk: Eyes on- Getting a precision kill with the throwing knife will highlight all other enemies of the same type (thrall, dregs, etc.) within three times of the radar area through walls for 15 seconds. Design: Completely black helm studded with eyes covering the entire head. Eyes will all independently move.

Element: Solar Perk one: Luck in the Chamber Exotic perk: Finish it - Kills with this weapon cause the victim to combust and user is granted with a short boost to recharge time of grenades and melee. HOWEVER, if you shoot a target but it somehow evades you and survives and you can't find another target to shoot within a time period of 4 seconds, the ammo from the weapons chamber is removed meaning a forced reload and the user it's set on fire for 4 seconds doing considerable damage. If allies kill the target you get a small bonus recharge to grenades and melee. The exotic perk does not occur on bosses and majors. Soooo better finish what you start ;) what you think?

New Subclass! Character type: Warlock Name: Necromancer Description: "Even in death they cannot hide." Element type: Void Jump ability: all the same as Voidwalker apart from 4th one which is a variant of blink that has much better directional control. Melee: Soul Siphon - charged melee kills will resurrect the victim to fight along side you for 15 seconds (excluding some majors and all bosses) Super: Thrallmaster - Bring back the dead to fight alongside you for a short period of time. (Basically walk into a group of corpses and activate the super, it will bring back a maximum of six fallen foes and will bring back the highest ranking enemies if possible but not all of them, this super lasts 45 seconds then resurrected enemies disintegrate and become orbs of light.) Other perks would consist of buffs to the resurrected, the user, damage thralls do ect... The base is there atm I'll let you decide on the rest. Btw this subclass would be banned in pvp I think the game should have purely pve subclasses.

For the author. Name: Elemental Fury Type: Titan Gauntlets Description: "Even after thousands of years, they could not tame the elements." Design: Titan Gauntlets similar to vault of glass gauntlets but darker grey with bigger more "spiky" pauldrons, electricity covers the gauntlets and sparks off at times. Attributes: Discipline - 95 Linear upgrade one: increase reload speed of Auto Rifles. Exotic upgrade: Elemental Fury - lightening grenades and aftershocks last longer than usual.

Weapon Perk: "Overshield." Hits will generate an overshield equal to 1.5% of your max health (double for critical hits).

Chaos and the Calm: You may try to take back your light guardians, but you shall never.-Oryx Exotic auto/pulse rifle (you'll see what I mean) Perks: first column: kinetic damage and full auto First perk: hip fire center column: perfect balance snapshot extended mag exotic perk: this weapon fires as a pulse rifle while ads and an auto rifle while hip firing. This weapon should be the next raid exotic, made by obtaining the pulse rifle: The Chaos and the auto rifle: the calm, both from the raid as well or from very long and difficult quests. Then, you would receive something called "The Taken Power" or something cooler that drops from the new raid's hard mode and that would make it so you could combine the two weapons by going on another quest to find Toland the Shattered so that he could fuse them together, making the exotic.
