"This is why destiny will never be competitive." My thoughts exactly. It's too unbalanced of a game to ever be a real true skill game. I don't know what this exploit means for destiny PvP but let's hope for a bare bones playlist.

The only problem I have with people saying is unbalanced is the fact that one person doesn't get exclusive access to weapons or armor that make them more powerful, every player has the same things available to them. I just comes down to some players being better than the other.

The unbalanced part comes from the different classes/weapons/unranked/armor all crammed into one match.

But it's all available to every player in the match.

Not necessarily, all classes are available that is true, but RNG decides who gets what gear and weapons.

Idk I play on Xbox, the only gun I know of that was truly op was the Vex pre Nerf.

Exploit? It's called strategy. Just because some people can't or won't adapt to a certain strategy doesn't make it an exploit. It means those that fail to adapt just aren't very smart or good.

Yea but this will most likely get patched, I'm not saying it's cheating or wrong but an exploitation of the game mechanics, very smart though.

I think Bungie will have to discuss how to address this use of synergy if it becomes more prevalent in PvP. In reviewing the stated and intended abilities of a Defender Titan, I see no exploit here, if by exploit we mean to use game mechanics in a way the developers did not intend. Bungie created the Defender to be able to generate and feed Orbs to a fire team. I think it's clear that this strategy presents something of a problem for the game as a whole, but I find it hard to believe that Bungie couldn't foresee this kind of scenario.

the game was never meant to be truly competitive or for mlg/gb players. it is meant to be unbalanced for that is what supers do, and were meant to to do. for those that need a bare bones go back to cod where you belong, the supers are here to stay. probably someone that cried about the armor abilities in reach too...

and you call yourself competitive...not.. a true competitive player can deal with the full game and all it throws at you, not having things removed to dumb it down and then call it fair/balanced/competitive.

I don't play destiny competitively, it's not worth it, it's unbalanced and unranked. Don't full yourself into thinking you're a skillful competitive player because you're good at destiny PvP.

It is meant to be unbalanced, it was not meant to be even and fair all the time. and ranked means nothing other then bragging rights about how you did in a game.. something that is not a sport and never will be.. esports...pssh.. dont think you are good either because you play other games and do well at them with things removed to make it so called balanced/fair/competitive. If you need anything removed to make the game fit you, then you are not good or competitive.

It helps pit you against players your skill level. Do you understand how discouraging it can be to new players to get destroyed by veteran players? Or how boring it gets for veteran players to trash team after team of randoms and newbys? Seriously, learn your shit or shut up.

yes I have played them before. and ranked does not mean best never will play worst. for even in halo 3 that was not the case. for many 50's in halo 3 were bought and were not good at all. I do know my shit kiddo, been around games for a very long time seen it all. and all the claims made too and know all the failures of each claim as well.
