Besides that waiting for teammates who aren't even near when the heavy ammo spawns is stupid. He just saved his team by destroying the opponents. Otherwhise they might not even have won that game.

The opponents spawned at C. So he was denying the heavy of the enemy team. If you wait the enemy will get heavy. Only wait at the heavy close to your own spawnpoint.

Not at all, I've multiple encounters like this all the time. But I wait for teammates to come before picking up the heavy and still have time to decimate the others
