Attention: This is a long read :P So this is currently my worst player experience yet: Sometime ago before the dlc launched, we did VOG hard. All except 1 dude were ppl I knew ingame. Everything goes smoothly: We cheesed Templar (Ye so what), and we were at gatekeepers within an hour from starting. Here it gets interesting: Me: Which tactic do you want to do? Everyone agrees on normal left then right tac, except from the one dude... Dude: We should try both portals at the same time. It's the fastest and easiest tactic. I do it all the time with the ppl in my clan. Me: Ok, it's always interesting to try new tactics. We agree that me and him go left portal, and since we only have 1 dude with Ghorn (a lvl 29, seriously wtf) it had to be him ALONE on right side. Dude: "He can make it no problem" (He never ever made it btw) 2 hours later and to many attempts to count we are STILL trying the same. Within that time I asked at least 5 times if we could just TRY to do the normal tactic, saying that "your tactic probably is the best, with the right ppl and gear, but not with this group". He still insisted on going with his tactic....At this point I was silently raging, boiling to the brink, but keeping it cool: Me: Dude.....lets just PLEASE try the normal tactic just once, everybody wants to do that. After a bit back and forth about him still wanting to do his tactic, he finally agreed to try left-right tactic. We made it in first try..... Of course Atheon was bugged as f**k, so we ended it after a couple of tries there. After the raid: Block, hoped to never see that dude again.... BUT, the fun doesn't end there: around new years I did another VOG and out of RNG-randomness I find myself with this dude again AND his friend. Ok I thought, this should be interesting. We did all well until the same spot: Gatekeepers. Dude: So let's try both portals at the same time Dude's friend: Ye it's really easy, we do it all the time My friend: Ummmm ok? Why don't we just do it the normal way? I like that best. Rest of the team agree except the 2 dudes. They argue that we should do the portals at the same time and they get what they want. We tried 4 runs. Every time the 2 dudes go at the same portal, and dealing wipe, e.v.e.r.y.t.i.m.e......At that point this happends: My friend: Well it seems like we could just go with the normal tactic since we can't handle this tactic now. Dude friend: WHY DO YOU GOTTA BE SUCH AN SHITBAG (translated from my language)!!! I go into a rage-laughter or whatever you would call it. Me: Really dude....*snikkering*. If everybody except you two want to do the normal tactic, who is really acting like a shitbag here? Last time we tried this it took 2 hours to get nowhere. Can't we PLEASE just try the normal tactic? And ye, we made it on the first try then, and one of those dudes died this time also. Made Atheon on a couple of tries. Silver lining was that they got no Vex, but one of my friends got it. Wohooooo... Moral of the story: NEVER do the same mistake twice. Never play with ppl bent on doing it their way, trespassing the will of the team.
