I've used Oversoul Edict but the damage wasn't enough since it's not fully leveled. But nice on knight shields. If you are talking Crota, AE and VoC are ok but if you have guns over 300 maxed it makes a difference. EDIT: I see you have Gajallahorn, so it doesn't matter what else you use. ;)

Depends on the situation but the VoC is nice Auto firing scout rifle Primary with Solar damage Atheon Epi is nice but talk about burning thru ammo. Not exactly accurate but void damage is nice. And good against minotaurs.
