Why MERCURY isn't in the Game
Guys,
Mercury can't be in the game because it's the hottest planet in the solar system. It basically touches the Sun's CMEs and we would all be dead immediately due to radiation and heat. Why do people want to go to a molten rock and fight the vex? These things blow my mind.
Why do people keep saying VENUS is hotter than Mercury? You guys need to learn the order of the planets.

6 RepliesIn game audio reveals that vex have turnes mercury into a giant machine. So since its no linger composed of organic matereals there Is no telling how hot its surface temp is or if it has a self sustaining atmosphere.

We can't go a really hot planet but we can summon a ball of destruction outta nowhere, we can smash the ground and insta kill, we can make a magic indestructible bubble, we can float. There is no #science or #astrophysics in this game. Sheesh

The crucible map is on mercury why would they put that in and then not bring the planet out

Mercury may be closer but Venus is hotter by an average of 35 - 40 degrees celcius instead of telling people they don't know astrophysics try actually learning astrophysics or even how to use Google

Actually, there is a crucible map placed on Mercury. Obviously if you can do PvP on the map, you can do PvE. Either they didn't want us to have Mercury or they just haven't released it yet.
