Why MERCURY isn't in the Game
Guys,
Mercury can't be in the game because it's the hottest planet in the solar system. It basically touches the Sun's CMEs and we would all be dead immediately due to radiation and heat. Why do people want to go to a molten rock and fight the vex? These things blow my mind.
Why do people keep saying VENUS is hotter than Mercury? You guys need to learn the order of the planets.

Mercury is in the crucible so it's already there

Go play crucible there's a map on mercury and it has to be the coolest looking planet. You can see the sun and it takes up half of your tv screen so you clearly haven't done enough research.

It was terraformed dipshxt. It's not in game yet because Vex have it taken over. The crucible map is the tiny bit of area we have recovered

Venus ISO hotter. Venus has molten lead for rain. Yes, Mercury has the hottest surface temp, but also the coldest temp in the solar system. Because mercury is tidally locked (Mercury always has the same part of the planet facing the sun) the backside of mercury always faces away. That makes the average temp cooler than Venus which is over 900 degrees all over. Also. Space magic....

Venus is more heated than Mercury. This is a fact. The reason is because Venus has a dense atmosphere and retains more heat than Mercury, regardless of their proximity to the sun.
