Guys,
Mercury can't be in the game because it's the hottest planet in the solar system. It basically touches the Sun's CMEs and we would all be dead immediately due to radiation and heat. Why do people want to go to a molten rock and fight the vex? These things blow my mind.
Why do people keep saying VENUS is hotter than Mercury? You guys need to learn the order of the planets.
-
Isn't there already a Crucible map for Skrimish located on Mercury?
-
I think the side facing the sun may be hotter but Venus is hot as shit because of the green house gas trapped in atmosphere It's goes: Venus: way to much green house gas, hot as hell. Earth: Meh, it's aright....be better without Justin Bieber and all the Kardashians Mars: it's cold and sucks here.....we should send the Kardashians and JB to this planet.
-
Was hoping for a satire tag but ok... -we actually play on mercury on pvp map "burning shrine". -traveler coming meant terramorphing the planet. Works on Mars and Venus too. Making it it somewhat habitable -it's a video game. How are supposed to blink or glide or grab a gun from thin air and shoot sun bullets?
-
It's. A. Video. Game. About magical space powers. There is no "You can't go here", except for disc locked content.
-
Venus is hotter than Mercury. Ask the google to explain to you why.
-
Uhh, Venus is hotter because it actually has an atmosphere to trap heat while Mercury is effectively a space rock. http://www.universetoday.com/35664/temperature-of-the-planets/
-
During the Golden Age humanity terraformed the planets to be habitable.
-
Mercury is in the game though, I just played a crucible match there last night lol plus I've we can live on Venus, then I don't see why mercury is a stretch
-
You are stupid, you claim to know science when in fact you have no clue what you are talking about. Mercury has no atmosphere and Venus has a huge atmosphere. Venus traps all its heat creating a massive greenhouse effect making it hotter than mercury. Most of Mercury's heat leaves as soon as it hit the planet because of its lack of atmosphere.
-
Remember Venus? Not a jungle in real life. So then mercury was probably put through the same video game magic terraformation.
-
It is in the game. A PvP map takes place there.
-
we play above mercury's surface on a Pvp map. also this is a science fiction game does what it wants
-
Grimoire says that mercury was a garden in the golden age
-
Hahaha placing science on a Science Fiction Game is hilarious Youre cute for the attention wanting ;-)
-
lol...hope you feel stupid now Though, you probably don't. You probably are 'trolling' or whatever the -blam!- that is.
-
When you use real-world logic with video game logic...you've gone full retard
-
Yeah it's true. I asked the speaker. He's my neighbour.
-
Could be underground...Helios Prime style
-
So that's why I constantly die on that pvp map.
-
U are dumb and probably putting on a front
-
Are you serious? In the grimoire section it clearly shows Jupiter, Saturn and Mercury under the areas section, meaning they will be coming soon with DLC. Are you trust trolling because I thought this was common knowledge. Not the mention there's a multiplayer map on Mercury already
-
The vex made mercury a machine within years according to the card, it happened during the collapse and i would be surprised if taking back mercury was part of a DLC
-
Edited by Jazeservedyou: 2/3/2015 4:00:48 PMVenus IS hotter than Mercury, yes Mercury is closer to the Sun but it's a relatively empty place. The gasses on Venus almost promote it's ability to keep heat within it's atmosphere, whereas they seep back out of Mercury quickly. It's called a Greenhouse Effect Google will offer a better answer if you're actually interested.
-
Mercury isn't the hottest even though it's the first planet in the system. Venus is the hottest planet because it's atmosphere is so thick that when heat from the sun manages to penetrate the atmosphere it gets trapped on the surface, heating the planet to around 900 degrees Fahrenheit. :P
-
Venus' atmospheric pressure is so high that, were a human to enter it, they'd be crushed into a sphere. Gravity is all the same. I just assume out giant ping-pong ball -blam!-ed the laws of physics over before it decided to die.
-
What about the crucible map? Also the vex have completely taken over it
