First of, Venus is the hottest, and yes I can explain why: The Greenhouse Effect.
Basically, Venus has a fuc-, erm, a substantial amount of CO2 gas which interferes with the atmospheres ability to filter rays from the sun. I know, I was surprised too when I first figured this out.

Second, it is in fact in the game, but it's only a multiplayer map at the moment. According to people, the Traveler helped make planets in the solar system more habitable.

Your both dense. .. the sun is the hottest planetary mass all. It dose nuclear fusion for Chris sake. O.0

Edited by TooFastForPat: 2/3/2015 4:45:16 PMYou're* Chris may be a dude you know so I'll let that one slide. And there are differences between planets and stars.
-
All stars are considered planets. They distinguish them selves only after nuclear fusion occurs. Not all planets achieve this critical state.
-
A bit of research on my end, I see what you mean, a star is basically an object dense and massive enough to cause nuclear fission, Jupiter would have to be about 72 times as large as it is to become a star apparently. But wouldn't be a bit of a stretch to call it a planet? It only orbits itself in a way.

The universe is infinite my friend. We hardly know what goes on in our own neck of the woods. Some stars have have other stars orbiting them! So it's not to far fetched to theories any thing until we know it all. So far we've counted over 1 quadrillion galaxies. But we can't even send a man to Mars. Yet alone the bottom of our oceans.
1 quadrillion is so big a number you could count every grain of sand on all the world beaches and not reach it!
Stars orbiting stars, now that is something to behold. Thinking about it now Destiny should have have done something with Black Knight Satellite, storywise. Here's a link if you don't know what I'm referring to: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Knight_satellite

No, I didn't know about that. Ty sir

Knowledge for knowledge :D

Everybody hates chris. Sake on the other hand. I'll drink sake bombs all day

Yo, OP, get told! By SCIENCE MOTHERFÜCKER!

I'm starting to regret, now I'm pretty convinced this is a troll post looking at the tags.

I would highly expect him to not actual know that Venus is hotter than Mercury. Don't regret.
