[b]here's The real reason[/b]
It's been completely taken over by the vex, the only piece of land I know that we reclaimed is the burning shrine map so there is literally no safe zone on that planet. (Outside one of the smallest PvP maps)

Who the hell though of going to the Vex Planet and then saying "you know what? This'd be a great place to train". I'd seriously love to explore the crucible maps in patrol since they're actually interesting and diverse and not just endless flat land.
