Venus is hotter. Greenhouse gasses on the planet trap insane amounts of sunlight, making the surface ridiculously hot. Even the coldest part of the planet is over 700°F. (400°C) It rains sulfuric acid and is genuinely not a very nice vacation spot. So I'd choose a different planet. Distance to the sun is not the only factor when it comes to temperature. Mercury can actually reach temperatures as low as -280°F. (-173°C) because of it's lack of atmosphere, the heat cannot be retained and while the surface is facing away from the sun, it gets frigid.
