How original. It has been stated time and time again, yet some people simply cannot fathom the idea: it is a shell intentionally placed to reduce file size once the project is complete. If you think Bungie is the only one doing this, you are kidding yourself. But I get it, you want something to gripe about. Go ahead, I will happily leave your head recklessly placed up your own anus.
No, I do not cradle the nuts of Bungie or DeeJ, I just use my brain
• Why are you defending such practice? What games have done it, and succeed?

 • Any game thats ever had DLC assets datamined out of it ahead of DLC dropping. A little googling will turn up plenty of precedent, if you are too lazy to make sure your accusations arent baseless, thats your problem.

 • I asked 2 questions, you answered none. I know of many games and a lot of them have been taken to court and oblied to give away all of the DLC.

 • And why hasnt this happened here pray tell? Because maybe, just maybe its solely a playable area, not a fully finished product? Also, what games? Not calling you out, genuinely interested to read about that.

 • Hmmm I found the Street Fighter incident (naughty naughty lol) but couldnt find anything about GoW? EA did a similar thing with Mass Effects day 1 dlc too. Im still not at all convinced that these first DLCs were completed pre-launch though. Its all too... placeholder-ish...

 • Honestly, if anything was genuinely cut for resale, I believe hand on heart that Activision would have ensured Bungie buried any hint of it so deep that no-one would have had the first clue. This is an enormous company we're talking about, these are smart people. They arent a 2-bit pub like Capcom. I cant for a second believe that they'd leave themselves so open. Now, if we're talking about merciless adherence to deadlines (which is NEVER a good thing in creative ventures) then they are guilty as all sin 😁

 • Idk, bungie did leave themselves pretty exposed, at least for speculation, and the game was indeed delayed so...
